THE FALL OF EVERY SEASON is a Norwegian one-man band that plays Doom Metal with Death Metal, Marius Strand started this project back in 2004, with his debut album being released in 2007 and now his sophomore album was released back in February.

The songs here are your standard on one-man projects (at least on the ones I heard): long almost-pretentious pieces with beautiful melodies joined by guttural vocals, on "Amends", luckily, you find more of the former than of the latter, which although is present in the album, is not enough to make my skin crawl.

Overall this is a pretty decent album, although not very memorable for better or for worse.
