From Bandcamp, "MY DARK SECRET TRANSCENDENCE (MDST) is one man Post Black Metal/Blackgaze band from Thailand with influence of DSBM. "Narusha" is founder of MDST and also being a front man of DEATHGUY, BREATHLESS, LERMAN and SHE's GORE." The album has seven songs. "The Last (ของลมหายใจ)" is first. It's thick with sound, and with emotion, and melodies soar high amidst the aggressive Black Metal guitars. The vocals are gentle and smooth at first, and they cry out to the heavens above, if you believe in that sort of thing. You could ride that melody line into the sunset with a smile that never leaves your face. Part two features piano notes and clean female vocals, and it's the kind of sound you might expect when you drift off to sleep for a happy dream. It's so pretty, it makes your heart ache. The screams that follow, however, could turn your hair white.

"Throne My Vice" combines heavy tones at times with ethereal ones, and it's the cadence here, the ebb and flow between the two, that fuel the song's emotion. Each note, each movement, each step you take brings you that much closer to the glorious light. "The Moon" is darker and more mysterious, as the namesake implies. A thick bed of aggressive guitars shoots out of the gate, and it's the first song with harsh vocals. They form a massive storm cloud in the sky and threaten. The clean vocals however keep the deluge at bay, just long enough for you to take cover. "Sacrifice" has a steadier sound that combines both edges of the blade…harsh vocals, thick guitars, with clean vocals and melody. The sheer emotion of the clean vocals tempers the aggression so well. "Father Sun, Mother Earth" has a mid-tempo groove that is entirely catchy. The melody is stunning as well…it's the kind you can just soak in all day long.

"แทบตายเหมือนกัน (Near Death Experience)" closes the album, and it's a bonus track. It pulses with electronica before exploding like a bundle of TNT. The aggression is then dialed back with the advent of clean vocals. From there, it's a highly emotional affair, and you can feel his pain. This was an excellent album. Although I love the fierce, aggressive side, I find myself gravitating more easily to the gentler and more melodic side. The beauty is that both are present in equal doses.
