XIII DOORS is a hard rock and heavy metal band founded by Irish singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist DJ O'Sullivan. Raised in Shannon, County Clare, DJ developed his musical foundation within a deeply creative family environment. His career has spanned numerous bands and theatrical productions, with touring experience across Europe, the UK, the United States, and the Middle East. Formed with the intention of creating music that inspires and resonates, XIII DOORS draws from a diverse range of influences from acts such as ALTER BRIDGE, ALICE IN CHAINS, DAUGHTRY and TREMONTI while incorporating subtle elements of world music, including Irish, Arabic, and Hindustani traditions. The result is a dynamic sound defined by powerful riffs, melodic intensity, and memorable hooks. At the forefront of this powerhouse features DJ O'Sullivan on guitar and lead vocals, alongside guitarist and vocalist Flash Murphy, bassist and vocalist Pat "Pablo" Byrne, and drummer Cian "Whoasley" O'Sullivan, whose energy and precision complete the group's driving force. Blending hard-hitting riffs and memorable choruses, XIII DOORS stands on the verge of delivering a sonic experience that is both evocative and transformative. POWERFUL is the best way to describe the sheer force of the opening track "Unleash the Beast". The song detonates with a mind-bending, ripping riff, sharp and relentless that grabs your attention immediately. The guitars carve the air with savage precision laying down an undeniable groove. The smooth, commanding vocals deliver swagger and passion as the backing rhythm section locks in with a tight and crisp pulse. A perfect ignition point to start the album with. The next two tracks  'Sorceress of Lies" and "Make A Life Again"  keep the momentum surging forward with an intoxicating sense of eeriness and power driven by heavy tempos, scorching and immersing into a cauldron of muscular adrenaline soaked riffs balanced perfectly with the raw and edgy vocals but are commanding and exhilarating. The songs build on the crushing rhythm and percussion section and the songs are both a little dangerous and down and dirty that continue the albums energy. On to the title track which I always feel is the most important song on the album because it defines the band. "Into The Unknown"

brings devouring hard edged chops over simmering, bruising riffs driven home by a lethal vocal presence of sheer metal exotic pleasure. Dark, muscular balls to the wall energy taking us out of the minivan into a Porsche with the top down, wind in our hair and bad intentions. The rhythms sustain a basic, raw and hulking ambiance all while incorporating enough modern edge to keep it feeling fresh. The album ends with "Outside" arguably its most diverse song, revealing a darker more moody side of the band. Deeper vocal layering sandwiched between a feverish beat and voraciously delicious tuned down guitar work which delivers a hardened riff and emerges with a raw intense sound that penetrate a galactic soundscape that booms and swaggers on this well-crafted, sinister rocker - like the opening to the gates to hell.

XIII DOORS blend anthem ready, hard rock with modern metal and blistering melodic hooks that hit hard and stay with you. They incorporate power, passion and grit into each and every song. This is a well-crafted debut album with wall to wall energy, heart and muscle.
