Where Angels Fear
Lullacry

Is that EVANESCENCE? No. LULLACRY! Well let's face it, both sound the same and no, it doesn't look too good for LULLACRY. Both instrumentally and lyrically there are no unique guitar riffs, no unique guitar solos, and no special lyrical system, just another band like EVANESCENCE or WE ARE THE FALLEN: Just another Gothic Rock with missing contents. It's all over again and I'm sorry but I'm getting bored here... It was so predictable and boring that I didn't even hear the bass. The bass is M.I.A, for those who'll find it please let me know as soon as possible!
When Tanja Lainio (Vocals) sings the forth track "Feel My Revenge" I feel nothing but the expectation this track to end or that some miracle will happen and I'll start to feel a revenge or anything. By the way, this is the only track I hoped it'll be outstanding but I guess I was wrong... Now the fifth track "Bad Blood" was like a really bad joke; it's messy and everything is all over the place. No feelings, no power just a void- Nothing. Instead of saying "I Am" (the eighth track) maybe she should scream it and that I might feel something... Tanja Lainio has no vocal range, no power when Amy Lee (EVANESCENCE) has both and I keep saying that when there's no power and no vocal range (Beyond the basic range) there's no credibility.
Basically, "Where Angels Fear" is like eating a stake with no salt. I mean, sure, these guys have potential but they make music more than a decade and it's a nice Metal but the thing is that Metal isn't nice; it's direct, it's scary, it's powerful, it's the truth and there's no place for "nice". In conclusion, this is a very disappointing album. Sorry but metal for me is the truth and the truth is that "Where Angels Fear" isn't that good. Maybe next time...
