Marc Storace releases the second solo album “Crossfire” through Frontiers Music, the follow up to his debut album released in 2021 entitled “Live And Let Live”. Marc has long musical career which started in 1970 with Swiss cult prog band Tea releasing 5 albums. In 1979 Marc became the voice of Krokus Switzerland's most successful Hard Rock band selling over 15 million records. In the 90's and 2000's Marc acted in two films and recorded 3 albums with different variations of Krokus. In 2008 the original line up of Krokus got back together released 2 albums which went platinum, with tours of Europe ,USA, Japan and South America  Krokus did their farewell concert in December 2019 at a sold out Hallenstadion in Zurich .”Cross Fire” is produced by Tommy Henriksen and award winning engineer Ollie Ramo.

Screaming Demon” a solid rocking track, mid tempo solid riffs and melody with some cool vocals .with a great guitar solo thrown in for good measure, a great start to the album. ”Rock This City” is a no nonsense straight up rock track with a solid chorus with some great gang bang backing vocals .”Adrenaline” has that Def Leppard feel about it the melody, the harmonies in the right places, the guitar solo and with Ollie Ramo involved its easy to see why! To be honest it sounds better than some of the Leppard material they have released lately. ”Love Thing Stealer” has swagger groove, catchy rhythm and a great chorus very much sounding like an AC/DC track, pure rock n' roll. ”Lets Go Nuts” and “We All Need The Money” have very much that same feel about them straight forward classic rock with a hint of blues with a mixture of that AC/DC sound foot tapping. head  banging, beer drinking rock n' roll. ”Thrill And A Kiss” definitely gives me that nostalgic 80's feel, one of the best tracks on the album for me. ”Sirens” is a bit of a different track musically ,a bit darker, heavier than previous tracks with darker, more aggressive vocals from Mark Storace.”Only Love Can Hurt Like This” is a bit of a surprise, I wasn't expecting a ballad on this album, especially as the last track ,a piano driven track which is a really emotional ,sincere vocal from Mark a great ballad.

Crossfire” is a great straight forward Hard Rock album which you just put on your stereo and listen to from start to finish, turned up loud of course! This album will appeal to any rock fans of any age. Mark Storace with over 50 years in the music business is still producing some high quality rock music, which will stand the tests of time. With some top class production and sound engineering giving the album that distinctive sound .Great record which is definitely worth a listen and appreciating.
