Diabulus In Musica - The Wanderer album cover

Ever wandered through the depths of your soul, letting what's inside just be? Because that's what can be done while listening to the album "The Wanderer" from DIABULUS IN MUSICA released through Napalm Records. But you can also just listen and get lost inside the music brought on this second full length album "The Wanderer" from DIABULUS IN MUSICA, a Gothic Metal band with a not to miss symphonic touch.

DIABULUS IN MUSICA is a band with depth and their new album shows on all levels a balance between light and dark brought together in a fragile balance that's also steady as a rock. Inside the music, the voices and the lyrics contradiction and harmony can be found. Also because "The Wanderer" does hold more than one style that's making this band not just Metal, not just gothic and not just symphonic, but a balanced mixture brought with passion and thought.

The passion and thought behind the music of "The Wanderer" did highlight the light and dark parts, giving me the feeling that I was listening to a story brought by real characters. Still the songs do stand on their own too, capable to touch what they stand for with room for own thoughts.

The album "The Wanderer" is a journey even though the sweet intro's called "A Journey's End". It's a wanderer journey with fast moving parts, bombastic emotions, soft lines, dark senses and slow burning desires in the continuous circles of being alive. It's also filled with different (musical) point of views, leaving an open space to think along more lines even when they feel like they're trapped alone or inside a discussion / fight all together, due to the energy behind the music that's able to touch the fantasy of the journey, but also the reality behind our own lifetime journeys.

"The Wanderer" is in the same line as their first full length album "The Secret", but somehow they do feel more comfortable in this new number.
