It's been a quiet year for Rogga Johansson so far, at least for us, but that's about to change starting with the release of one of his biggest and best known bands Revolting. Musically, it's somewhere between the pummeling Swedish death metal music of Paganizer tempered with the melodic sensibilities displayed on the latest Rogga Johansson album. It's just done right at the end of the day and if you're a fan of old school Swedish death metal, you're sure to be satiated. The official video was unleashed recently which can be viewed on Bandcamp and YouTube. The promos should be reaching you via Haulix shortly. We've gone all out offering five different LP colour variants for this release, wooden box sets for all formats including the coffin-shaped ones, a full range of merch including girlies and zipped hoodies, and more! It's befitting a band of this stature and goes hand-in-hand with the sublime artwork by Juanjo Castellano (The Black Dahlia Murder).

Revolting happens to be one of Rogga Johansson's most prominent and long-running bands along with Paganizer. The band is also one of the most active ones. Fans will know that they've honed their craft over the years and they do things in a better way with each one. For the seventh full length, Rogga Johansson has done his best blending classic Swedish melodies with the brute force that his bands are associated with. Imagine a mix of Paganizer and Rogga Johansson and you've got something that has the best qualities of both the Swedish-sounding bands, which are presently at the peak of their respective careers. There's of course the added groove and memorability that's hard to dislike. All in all, if you're a fan of well-rounded Swedish death metal that has everything in spades, Revolting is for you.
