The Project was born with the intent to donate the proceeds from the sales of the song "Inno di Mameli" to the Policlinico of Milan, among the many heroes on the frontline to fight Covid 19 and as of Friday 17th of April it will be available on all digital stores, streaming platforms and YouTube.
The man behind the project and artistic producer is MARCO D'ANDREA (Planethard www.planethard.it, Marco D'Andrea project httsp://www.marcodandrea.it) who says:
"... facing what was happening in Italy and worldwide, I couldn't stand being a spectator, so I decided to act and give my contribution, it's in my character, I couldn't remain helpless in front of this absurd reality that we are living. It feels like being in a movie about a worldwide virus, but unlike fiction, people really die ...
As soon as I had the idea, I contacted Nico Spinosa of RNC Music, it was 8:30 on a Monday morning, I think, in fact I am sure I woke him up that day. I explained my idea to him and he was immediately enthusiastic about it. With the support of RNC Music, for the release of the song, I contacted some friends and colleagues from the Italian and International Rock / Metal scene, who enthusiastically joined the initiative.
I thought that an arrangement of the Mameli anthem in Rock / Metal key, , would have been ideal to seal the union and brotherhood of us Italians, because, right now, we must be more united than ever and help each other.
Though this contribution might be a drop in the sea, the sea is still formed by many small drops...

The video clip of the song with "Amateur" footage wants to underline the historical moment that we are all experiencing, fighting the Virus, staying at home.
