Born Divided - Chronicle Of A Shipwreck
September 29, 2025
It doesn’t matter whether BORN DIVIDED plays fast and furious, slow and deliberate or is hovering somewhere in between, everything on “Chronicle Of A Shipwreck” is as it should be.

Heartkiller - Üdv A Világomban
September 3, 2025
I have to conclude that musically HEARTKILLER have their ducks in a row. And even though you aren’t able to understand one word that is being sung, this does sound good. You don’t have to worry about bad pronunciation or dictation. Instead, you just get to enjoy the atmosphere and character that the voices used and instruments played are expelling through your speakers.

August 26, 2025
The VITTRA album “Intense Indifference” will not be offering you any new insights, but what it will do is emphasize that if a band knows how to incorporate the right sounds and vibes into their music, they are capable of producing a very strong album.

Degenerate - Rituals Of Rage
June 30, 2025
As for the songs on “Rituals Of Rage”, they are all within the range that is between good to outstanding. None of them are anything less that good, but also none of them outshine the others by being more than outstanding. To me that shows that DEGENERATE has consistency in their song writing and playing.

Rickert G. - Endless Thoughts
June 3, 2025
The songs on “Endless Thoughts” have body, soul and feelings galore, and the way that RICKERT G. has put his compositions together makes a whole lot of sense. It makes for almost 42 minutes of very divers and exciting Metal.

Destinity – Ascension
May 25, 2025
I’m not going to tell you that “Ascension” is covering any new territories, or that our French friends of DESTINITY are about the set the Metal world on fire with their way of making music, but I will be shouting out that anyone who loves good Old School and/or Melodic Death Metal needs to give this album a serious try by having a good listen. Like me you might be very pleasantly surprised by what you encounter.

Obsidian Fall - Elegy From a Dying World
April 26, 2025
It has to be said, for an album that OBSIDIAN FALL wrote, recorded, produced and released on their own accord, this isn’t bad at all. There is enough depth in the songs to keep it interesting.

Nephylim - Circuition
April 8, 2025
During the fast moving 38 minutes that “Circuition” is emitting its impressive sounds I am very much in a dream state. It didn’t look like I would be when I started listening, but with every time the record has been coming through my speakers, I have had to admit that it is even better than the last time I listened.

Cantu Ignis – The Fathomless Dominion
March 3, 2025
“The Fathomless Dominion” is melodic Death Metal at its core, but with added symphonic arrangements now and then. The melodies are dark, melancholic, and epic at times, and most often classically or neo-classically inspired
review
Admire the Grim – Resist
February 27, 2025
This was a promising debut album from the quintet from Finland. They prove that they have the chops and the songwriting skills to be a major player in the genre. For their next outing, I would just encourage them to explore more of the melodic side of their sound and take more chances in the area of experimentation. This would really put some miles between them and their peers.

Morass Skoffin - Descent
November 5, 2024
MORASS SKOFFIN
’s “
Descent
” is a downward spiral definitely worth taking. It is possible for death metal to provide memorable moments without losing any of its intensity and provide an engaging experience—”Descent” is proof of that.
