Malignancy
Onslaught Kommand
If you love extreme music at its most natural form, the Death/Grindcore work of this Chilean quartet is for you.

Strange and Beautiful Things
Dying Hydra
Some lessons about how to create a fine Sludge Metal release can be found on this Swedish trio's work.
Shadowlight
Defences
This band offers a very good mix of Modern Metal tendencies.
Saga of the North
Þrymr
Overall, this was an original album that was both creative and thoughtful, and the journey that Trym took the listeners on was filled with sorrow, tears, resolve, hope, and even some joy.

Songs for the Dying
Against I
This wasn’t a bad album per se, it just suffered from the same sickness that plagues many metal bands today…an overuse of old formulas, and an unwillingness to break away from the norm. Some Metalheads crave this lever of consistency, but as a long time reviewer and avid consumer of music, I expect more.
Second Wound
Ploughshare
PLOUGHSHARE is a black/death metal band from Australia that hit the scene in 2017 with […]
Maleficium - Part 1
Panzerchrist
PANZERCHRIST
is a band that has always been very dependable, providing one solid release after another. Much remains the same for this latest album–while it certainly isn’t mind blowing or trying to reinvent the wheel, it’s a solid effort from a band that is the definition of “what you see is what you get.” With that being said it’s infectious and engaging enough to take a return trip.
Afterlife
Planet Of Zeus
Good Metal from Greece.
Solaris
Distant Past
Altogether I recommend this album on two fronts: First for giving true homage to an often-forgotten sci-fi pioneer; Second, for sticking to their mission of delivering solid metal recalling the glorious distant past.
The Insurrectionists and the Caretakers
Auriferous Flame
For all the Extreme Black Metal true believers out there, I highly recommend this one
Death Descending
Death Descending
The album clocks in at under 10 minutes of total playing time, but it has a promising sound that I would love to hear more of. He created a very bleak and somber landscape that is definitely worth exploring more.
Smash Atoms
Smash Atoms
Grunge is back, according to SMASH ATOMS, a new four piece band from Gothenburg, Sweden. […]
Tombs Of The Blind Dead
Summoning Death
"Tombs Of The Blind Dead” offers an outstanding mixture of brutality and darkness, inspired by a Swedish chainsaw sound of the guitars, relentless drumming, and brutal deep-lying growling vocals
Formae Mentis
Just Reborn
“Formae Mentis” is a unique symphonic Metal album with a strong classical/neo-classical melodical basis
Under Siege
Damaged
I can’t help but think that if DAMAGED would have had just that bit of luck, they could have made quite the impression, because I really like what I am hearing. The songs are strong, powerful and full of variety without ever losing face of the fact that they need to imprint themselves on the audience. And they do. “Under Siege” is good stuff.
Chainsaw Anthems
Explorer
I can only say that I am still enjoying listening to “Chainsaw Anthems”, as it does give me an insight onto another piece of the Heavy Metal history of the Lowlands. And that is something I as a real Metalhead will always treasure.
Renaissance
Raptore
Yes, this is very much eighties-oriented Metal, but by making sure that they have gotten a proper production, they sound good in current times as well, without becoming too contemporary.
Through Endless Black
Sleepless
If you are one of those Metalheads who does dare to try something new without having to tread unknown territories, you should listen to this SLEEPLESS album. “Through Endless Black” will not disappoint you.
Rush Of Power
Steel Inferno
If you are able to stand or sit still while you are listening to “Rush Of Power” you are either dead on your way there. I don’t care if you like this kind of Speed Metal or not, this will get your juices flowing and your body moving.
Admist the Ruins
Saor
Consider alone all of the various instruments that went into its making, and that guitar was not the focal point. Each composition was filled with strings, pipes, and other instruments, and each one was grandiose in an accessible way. Let “Amidst the Ruins” take you on a journey to ancient times, and ancient lands, and give you just a little escape from your humdrum life.
