In The Woods…
This was peculiar and particular album, and I believe that some of the songs will only appeal to a certain fan group, while other were a little more linear and accessible. I love almost all Progressive music, but this one was just a bit odd to me. However, I encourage you to check it out, as it might be something that you enjoy.
The Spin
Messa
To call “The Spin” a Doom Metal album is to oversimplify a work that claws at the edges of genre, digging deep into sonic spaces that feel far too expansive, too emotionally turbulent, too alive to be contained by any one label. What’s remarkable is how they use it as a foundation but build a whole landscape on top — one that includes gothic drama, ambient dread, and even moments of light. It’s a slow burn, but it’s also a journey across a fractured psyche. There’s narrative here, emotional range, and a deep sense of intention. It’s Doom Metal for listeners who want more than just a genre fix.
Lost in Light
Tumble
A good mix between influences of Hard Rock, Psychedelic Rock and pre-Heavy Metal can be heard on thi trio's music.
Odes to the Ritual Hills
Moonfall
A promising name on the mix of Black Metal and Doom Metal, but things must improve a lot.

Sores of our Time
Druma
Not being familiar with the band, the refinement of the album is indeed evident. They settled on a depressive sound and slowly worked its way down your throat until you swallowed it unwillingly. The album is being dark, beyond despondence, and beyond hopelessness…leaving the listener to wonder what things come after these. I don’t want to find that out.
Silver Knife
Silver Knife
Overall, although their musicianship was strong, too many of the songs sounded similar, and that killed the vibe on the album for me, and is my chief complaint.
Glory Or Nothing
Overdrivers
Funny Rock.
Left For Dust
Caboose
What I do have to mention is that if you would like a comparison to any of the earlier bands playing Stoner Rock/Metal you will undoubtedly come across the names of TROUBLE and MONSTER MAGNET, and although the young guns of CABOOSE aren’t anywhere near the quality of those bands (yet?), they have that really rough and ready sound that also fits the peers mentioned.
Never Quite Dead
Pagan Altar
The songs on “Never Quite Dead” vary from decent to good, the sound is very recognisable and the musicianship is quite clear and obvious.
Under Silver Sky
Stud
Good and solid Hard Rocking Heavy Metal songs with a lot of Melodic and sometimes even AOR vibes mixed in. It makes “Under Silver Sky” into a very nice record that will not break any records, or even give STUD major player status, but it will provide the listeners with a pleasant amount of entertainment. And let’s be frank, that is exactly what music is supposed to be all about.
Circuition
Nephylim
During the fast moving 38 minutes that “Circuition” is emitting its impressive sounds I am very much in a dream state. It didn’t look like I would be when I started listening, but with every time the record has been coming through my speakers, I have had to admit that it is even better than the last time I listened.
Dirge for the Doomed
Oracle Hands
“Dirge for the Damned” is a harrowing journey through raging desolation, a phrase that perfectly encapsulates the storm of emotion and sonic violence unleashed across its runtime. Beneath the violent surface, there’s a clear emotional arc—a story of isolation, reckoning, and the flicker of something like resilience. The juxtaposition of harshness and occasional moments of clarity mirrors the human experience of loss and rage: unpredictable, messy, but undeniably powerful.
Straight Down To Hell
All Against
ALL AGAINST create their very own and charismatic Metal sound based on a smart mixture of Thrash and Groove Metal elements
The Rituals Of Resilience
Voidfallen
“The Rituals Of Resilience” are a delivery of epic and melancholic melodies, a bombastic sound at times, relentless blast-beat parts, and thunderous guitar riffs
Godfall
Tears’ Heaven
Although I don’t hear many Post elements, that is neither here not there, and only matters to some people. What I do hear is well-crafted melodies, an art that seems to take a second seat to aggression these days. It may not be pure Metal in the classic sense of that word, but who cares? The songs are simple, but catchy and meaningful, and that’s all that matters.
No Sins To Confess
LOANSHARK
LOANSHARK is a heavy metal band, not the guy that takes out your knee caps when you don’t pay it back, but to be on the safe side, don’t borrow any money from the band.
Desert Smoke
Desert Smoke
DESERT SMOKE, “Desert Smoke,” with or without the apostrophe, scores high on the Metal Temple scales. Well worth the time to check out.
Ambis
Elusive God
“Ambis” is a solid return for the ELUSIVE GOD who, with three original albums plus a live recording in seven years aren’t exactly elusive. Still, I could use more ELUSIVE GOD in my life.
Detachment from Reality
Empyrean Sanctum
The first thing I want to highlight about the album is the band’s outstanding musicianship. Indeed, they are masters at their instruments, and the vocalist has an exceptional range. The second thing that caught me are the strong emotional hooks, and it was just so much fun to listen to. This was a statement type of album that was emotionally power from start to finish.
Trenchslayer
Ardityon
Yet here we have a relatively young band with some experience though with experience comes a sense of what works and what doesn't, so stylistic evolution tends to be a secondary concern, particularly when the style is a longstanding one. There's always a group of depressingly deluded people who expect some grand, genre-redefining moment that will still magically be coherent, and ARDITYON has taken the wise route of failing to acknowledge the existence of such people when at their craft.
Passage
Passage
It would be easy to write this full-length debut album off as a mere repeat hodge-podge of styles, but by itself it's a refreshing band with old school metal tropes. They might use a tried and true formula on here as many did before them but on the contrary, PASSAGE may end up being a superior effort due to tweaks in songwriting and the band itself feeling more confident than many bands out there in their 80s metal sweet spot.

Beware of Gods
This was a very personal album that one could label as strange, and unsettling at times. It is not here to make you comfortable…it is here to shake things up, and the unusual nature of the album is something that every Metalhead should experience.
