Heather & Hearth
Phantom Spell
This was an excellent album, and considering it was created by one person says a lot about it. For me, it has an old school Progressive ring to it, akin to KANSAS or KAIPA. The song are structure well, and they bring up a lot of emotion, as any good album would. There is also some mystery about the album, and that’s what brings me back wanting more.
A Faraway World
Orpharion
This album is actually not bad, it feels a bit incomplete because of the lack of diversity in the vocal part of it but you have a solid production and some solid musicianship throughout.
Trenchslayer
Ardityon
Italy's finest import other than Wine is definitely good music and ARDITYON bring something refreshing, giving the listener something different from song to song and not staying in the same path which is a testament of a very promising band.

Sandness
Sandness from Italy were formed in 2008.The Italian hard rock 3 piece band have already […]

Aether
Hermyth
This Italian Shoegaze/Metalgaze act really surprises with its music! Rear to it, NOW!
Rays of the Emerald Sun
Grave Speaker
If this Doom Metal/Stoner Metal band can set its ideas in a better shape, they'll be good. But for now, it has a long way to go.
Cerberus
Galgeberg
With experienced musicians, this Norwegian Death Metal/Crust Core act releases an excellent EP.
Clamfight
Clamfight
Maybe some lessons about the mix of Stoner Metal with Sludge Metal could be learned while hearing to this band.
Vengeance Evangel
Chaos Inception
If you want a bone-crushing Death Metal release, this full-length is for you!
Nebula
As The World Dies
Wow, this mix between UK Death Metal and Progressive Death Metal presented on this release is amazing!
The Teeth of Time
Drouth
This was an excellent album. The songs were meticulously crafted, thick, aggressive, and dark…everything you would want from a Black Metal album. But, this isn’t the usual FWOBM release. Their intense aggression is bested only by their intricate songwriting.
Eleventh Ray – Reviving Tehom
Eleventh Ray – Reviving Tehom
This amalgam of Black/Thrash/Death Metal was at least uncommon in some of its approach, but it mostly relied on riffs that you have heard before, and they didn’t do enough the really elevate their sound.
Unmerciful
Devouring Darkness
Hell yes, if your idea of a good times involves getting sonically flattened by a […]
Life Force
Darkyra
This was a solid album, that combined a bit of Goth, some cinematic vibes, and some good old emotional Rock into a cohesive whole. The best part for me was probably the vocals of Gina. They are controlled, well trained, and have a big emotional punch. She also enlisted a talented ensemble for the album.
Scars
Patchwork
Thirteen songs were just too many considering the sound on the album. The music is indeed fast, heavy, and direct, but it just reminds me of the heyday of Speed Metal, which was 40 years ago. The lead guitar is what is best about the album, but the rest just doesn’t measure up. They are all solid musicians however, and I’m sure that many Metalheads will like their sound. It just wasn’t for me.
Infection
Lenax
The album was just mediocre for me, and it didn’t do enough to distinguish itself from the thousands upon thousands of other bands that are out there playing this style of music. It was an honest effort, but the final result just fell short.
Wolfheart
Iku- Turso
Overall, this was a solid album, and it stayed true to some of the traditions of the FWOBM, while branching out just enough to keep the sound more modern.
Ubercode Ouvre
Panzerballet
In sum, their level of musicianship is off the charts, and many of the songs were quite fun to listen to. This is niche music in many ways however, and just won’t appeal to some Metalheads, although I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Neopolis
Lights of Vimana
There are albums that reflect sadness, and then there is “Neopolis,” that do not reflect despair so much as become it, filling the room like a choking fog, inhaling any hope before it can take root. This is not music crafted for catharsis. It is the sound of being pinned beneath the weight of permanence—a slow, unrelenting erosion of emotional ground. You don’t emerge from this album—you fade into it. It leaves you blinking at silence, wondering if you imagined the light at all. It’s not that “Neopolis” offers no hope; it’s that it reminds you how easily hope is consumed—how quickly beauty can be buried beneath weight and wire.
Under Disheartening Skies
Scars of Solitude
Scars of Solitude is a new band for me, even if they have been around […]
Open Season
Deathblow
DEATHBLOW deliver the typical DEATHBLOW sound with four new tracks. “Open Season” is a mixture of Thrash Metal, Hardcore, and Punk
Eternal Source
Neopera
NEOPERA offer an interesting symbiosis of classical music and Metal. “Eternal Source” is not a traditional symphonic Metal album, it is a mixture of orchestral and operatic Metal

Domkraft
Domkraft
DOMKRAFT, “Doomkraft.” If you missed their debut in 2015, you get a second chance in 2025. Nothing like being ten years late for the party . . . but in the metalsphere there never really is such a thing as being too late.
The Truth is Caustic to Love
Spider Kitten
What the hell is a spider kitten? And if you saw one, would you try to pick it up or run in abject horror? Like its namesake, SPIDER KITTEN is a hard band to get into and a hard band to walk away from.
Nothing Etched in Stone Pt. 1
Transcendence
This was a very well put together concept album. Each of the musicians are fantastic, and their level of technical prowess is noteworthy. However, too many of the songs had the same pacing, as well as that same feeling of longing. It kept the album from reaching the upper echelon of their peer group, but if they can work through those issues, this is a promising return.
Catatonic Symphony
Raging Slayer
Catatonic Symphony, not to be confused with the album of the same name by Basterdane […]
Origins of Aggression
Onslaught
Altogether ONSLAUGHT is giving us a nice insight to what made them tick in the beginning, making “Origins of Aggression” an almost mandatory release for anyone who either hasn’t followed these guys from the start, or any Thrash Metal enthusiast that is wondering which Punk bands were important to these British Metallers.
Eternal Curse
Claymorean
In just over 48 minutes you are treated to 48 minutes of CLAYMOREAN style Metal, and as far as I’m concerned, the main ingredient is still Power Metal, although it is larded with a lot of Heavy Metal parts and riffs.
Oceans Of Black
Black Majesty
I have enjoyed listening to BLACK MAJESTY. If you are one of those who loves your Epic and Melodic parts to be part of it, I feel that I just might have handed you another jewel in your crown. And hey, maybe you are one of those who already knew and appreciated BLACK MAJESTY. If you are, you will definitely enjoy “Oceans Of Black”.
Lifted From The Wind
Temple Fang
Besides this release can be hard to some to deal with due its long songs, the band shows a very good work, indeed.
Wreathed in Dead Angels
Profanatica
The pioneers of USA Black Metal School are back with a blasphemous and good release.
Ruaß
Nekrodeus
If you want a new experience into Blackened Death Metal/Death Metal, you must hear this Austrian band!
Sempiternal Drive
Miss Vain
A fine mix of influences is what is offered by this rocker Finnish quintet.
Opera Medica
Haemorrhage
These Spanish Goregrind/Death Metal pioneers created a fine EP, indeed.
