Let me see...Witchery ... um who are these guys ? I'm just kiddin'. Witchery have just released their latest work 'Symphony for the Devil' a very good and wicked album worthy of its title.
I could say that 'Symphony for the Devil' is a really heavy album with some thrash influences concerning the drums and some guitar parts, but still remaining black as ever. This time the members of : The Haunted , Arch Enemy and Seance Unleash which altogether form Witchery and their dark theatrical music were seen to rise almost to the top of the Scandinavian scene since their abilities in creating music have increased in a great point.
The incredible dark and haunted atmosphere will possess you from the first song and the awesome vocals will take you for a trip in hell, at least that's what I felt listening to it, I mean I really wanted to bang my head until death, I became obsessed with it from the first time I listened to it. Definitely one of the best albums for this year !!!
A fuckin' great production is another thing that makes 'Symphony for the Devil' even better. Not even one disturbing noise !! Everything is heard crystal clear and the clear guitar volume mass will guarantee to blast your brains !!!
There are bands and BANDS and witchery is one hell of a BAND and 'Symphony for the Devil' is one hell of an ALBUM. Those of you who already liked their previous albums will love this one and for those of you who didn't, well time to change your mind and become one with the art of Witchery!
