Too Dangerous
Wild Rose

Wild Rose have been delivering great AOR/Melodic rock since the band began back in 2004 formed by Andy Rock.In 2007 after several previous line-up changes, Wild Rose released their first promo single cd “It’s All About Love” which also featured the title track “Too Late” which gained traction among the AOR community, and in that same year they supported Talisman on their farewell tour in Hellas. In 2011 after recording a ten track demo they released their debut album “Half Past Midnight” in 2011.In 2013 the follow up ”Dangerous “ was released via AOR Heaven .In March 2014 celebrating their 10th anniversary album number three “Hit N’ Run” was released via AOR Boulevard with the fourth album “4” released in 2016 via Lions Pride Music. The debut was reissued in 2018 after the initial pressings sold out, which also was the case for “Dangerous”.Now in 2025 the second album is reissued and also retitled “Too Dangerous” complete with with four demo tracks with singer Mark Thompson Smith recorded in 2012.
I love these reissues of out of press albums with “Too Dangerous” been no exception. From the first track “Alone” which is a strong melodic opener, with a big harmonic chorus strong guitar solo and those atmospheric key touches.”Hold On” with its smooth AOR melody & smooth vocals it's easy why the first pressing of this album sold out.Another solid track “I Can’t Stop Loving You” takes you on a nostalgic trip with its 80’s vibe which would have ruled the radio airwaves back then. The big melodic tracks keep on rollin’ with the impressive “If You Still Love Me” & “Dream On” with more smooth vocals, great guitar tones & keyboards. The power ballad “Awake” has great powerful vocals & harmonies with the melody building as the track progresses, another melodic power ballad follows with the fabulous “Tonight”.”I Won’t Forget You” is another nostalgic melodic number which flows along with some great sax touches towards the latter stages of the track. The albums penultimate track “Is This Love” is another strong track with “Not A Day Goes By” bringing the album to a strong powerful finish, with 4 bonus tracks thrown in for good measure.
A great reissue of a great album by Wild Rose. This will be a welcome reissue to all cd collectors, for melodic rock fans this is a must get album to add to the collection. An album of great quality and its easy to see why it sold out the first time around.
