Wicked Smile are a Heavy Metal band from Melbourne Australia ,the bands mission is to bring back fist bumping Heavy Rock to the forefront,while lyrically their songs explore society today.The band's lineup consists of Danny Cecati vocals (Ex Pegazus & Eye Fear),Stevie Janeski (Ex Black Majesty & Cyclone Tracy ) and,Dave Graham (Ex In Malice's Wake) on guitars,Tom Nugara on bass (Envenomed)  and Andrew Sharp (Ex Pegazus) on drums.Their 2021 debut album "Wait For The Night" was one of the albums of the year in 2021 which was produced by Paul Laine (The Defiants) and mastered by Bruno Ravel (Danger Danger).In 2023 Wicked Smile toured the UK twice which included appearances at renowned festivals such as Winterstorm and Planet Rockstock which also saw the release of  the "Night Time Riders" EP.Wicked Smile have also signed record deals in South America and Japan where they also completed a successful headline tour in November 2025.In 2026 they will once again tour in support of "When Night Falls" with dates in the UK,Europe and of course Australia.

The opening track,title track and first single "When Night Falls" has heavy crunchy riffs ringing out of my speakers from the first note,a Heavy Metal classic sounding melody,Danny Cerati's vocals command the track soaring,but there is also a theatrical side to them too."Back To Back We Stand" has a slower tempo,but still has a heavy melody,complete with a tight rhythm section ,Tom Nugara's dominant deep bass groove gives the track a great depth,complete with some heavy riffing & solos.The eerie,dark,heavy feel of "Face Of The Wicked" which is,dark cinematic, operatic horror with Danny Cecati growling "Welcome To Your Life" in a venomous fashion!,"Rebel Souls" which is also more of the same, also with a darker edge,full of great hooks in the melodies,with some bold heavy riffs courtesy of Stevie Janeski and Dave Graham with  heavy melodic guitar solos."Never Surrender" is a fast paced solid rocker which is pure fist bumping old school Heavy Metal at its finest which commands respect to be played at a high volume."Close Your Eyes Before The Rain" is a heavy charged reflective to track which allows you to think emotionally,melodic in the chorus but still keeps within that heavy Wicked Smile sound.

The heaviest track on the album "Walking The Wire" gallops along with heavy riffs & runs,Andrew Sharps ferocious drums pounding away add to the intensity of the track."Night Time Riders" is another full throttle up tempo,energized track,the riffs are razor sharp,commanding vocals,tight rhythm section,a blazing barrage of Metal."Heavens Calling (Clutch)" is a chance to catch a breath,a softer flowing track with a powerful chorus,the vocals after and emotional,but powerful when they need to be.The albums penultimate track "Phoenix Will Rise" is a short but sweet burst of more crunchy heavy riffs,with more strong vocals."Scream N' Shout" is a blazing masterclass in Heavy Metal,it ticks all the boxes for any Metal fan,a song with a defiance aura,played live those devil horns will proudly punch the air in unison! "When Night Falls" is a phenomenal follow up to the debut album.Wicked Smile have delivered a fantastic old school sounding Heavy Metal album which is full of nostalgic sounding classics.I can't believe these guys haven't been snapped up by a major label yet a superb band with a phenomenal talent.
