Australian heavy rock band WICKED SMILE have announced "Delirium" as the title of their forthcoming debut ep which was released on July 1st. Guitarist Stevie Janevski goes on to say, "our two released songs have received such a fantastic response worldwide that people wanted to hear more right away. This was particularly pleasing to both Danny and I. We were both overwhelmed by the positive response, whether it be via personal messages, YouTube comments or via our Facebook and Instagram accounts. It was also fantastic to have so much support from Internet Radio who got behind us by playing our song, with some stations putting us on heavy rotation." The EP contains four tracks.

"We Fall" opens the album, with a tough and heavy riff, and a mid-tempo rhythm. Cecati's vocals have a snarl to them, but the music is pretty average with riffs you have heard before. "Stronger" also has a mid-tempo swing, but it's a bit faster than the previous track. The chorus has a full sound but again, the riffs are trite and you have heard them before. The band has to branch out and find their own style. "Love's God a Hold on you" opens with a full riff but the mid-temp sound is weighing down the album. Cecati has a strong voice, and he stretches it out here pretty well.

"Daze of Delirium" closes the album, with an aggressive riff, and edgy vocals. The chorus is full of "whoas" and backing vocals, but again, the mid-tempo pace has dragged this album into the ground. Overall, the album failed to get off the ground. The production is great, and so is the vocalist, but the band as a whole has to strive to find their own identity, because the EP is full of riffs that you have heard before. It's a tough task to try to make it in this genre today, because if you were alive in the 1980's like I was, the market was over-saturated with bands like this. Even if this was released in the 1980's, it would not stand out. I really hope the band can find their own identity when they release a full-length.
