Here with their debut EP "Permanence", VERMIN WOMB are already showing the world just how heavy they like their shit. It's always great to have your Metal heavy and loud and this is like a wonderland of heaviness.
The "Permanence" EP is ear blistering, bone-crunching and angry. VERMIN WOMB aren't necessarily one of those bands you'll go to see live and just stand there banging your head, they are a band you go and see and you lose yourself in them and you let go of everything.
When a band can pump Metal into your veins, how can you dislike them? You simply can't.
Filled with pure aggression and hatred, VERMIN WOMB hit you right in that part of you that says "I hate everything" and brings it all out. This is music to get angry too, this is music to go absolutely bonkers too. How many people can release their hatred and day to day anger and stress to JUSTIN BEIBER? I think maybe absolutely diddly, VERMIN WOMB were formed for that business.
The first noticeable thing was the similarities to many other Grind/Death Metal bands such as JOB FOR A COWBOY and SUICIDE SILENCE. That's something we could all use a bit more of. People in the Metal community underestimate bands just mentioned thinking they're another band that follows suit of bands such as PEIRCE THE VEIL, SLEEPING WITH SIRENS and A DAY TO REMEMBER (Trust me on this one, I've had plenty of kids coming up to me suggesting they was the same) - VERMIN WOMB are a band that will bring back that stamp on the genre and for all those other bands out there to make people actually realise it's a lot different than the ever-growing misunderstanding of what is what.
"Permanence" is heavily influenced by not only Grind and Death Metal, it is also influenced by Sludge Metal - You'll notice this for yourself as you take a listen, you'll just feel well, sludgy. With a constant bleak atmosphere created by the music layered with aggression, hatred and depression you can't help but notice the Sludge roots.
VERMIN WOMB have truly created an epic masterpiece - It is filled to the brim of everything us Metal fans love. Loud, violent and heavy, "Permanence" is a must have for fans of Metal all around the world!
