Van Canto - Voices Of Fire album cover

It truly is remarkable what one drummer, five vocalists and an author can accomplish. The outcome? A grand impact of exhilaration that has the listener so immersed into a parallel universe, that they don't want to think about anything else. The record in question, that will no doubt cause all attention levels on everything else to drop and arise awareness to the sheer beauty the album delivers, is the new upcoming album titled "Voices Of Fire" for Acapella Metal troupe VAN CANTO.

Over the past decade this heroic force have been treating the metal community with many gallant releases including "Tribe Of Force", "Break The Silence" and "Dawn Of The Brave"; all of these containing covers of well known metal anthems such as BLACK SABBATH's "Paranoid", EUROPE's "The Final Countdown", SABATON's "Primo Victoria" and ALICE COOPER's "Bed Of Nails".

This latest release is the first to contain no covers but all original material. To create this masterpiece, the troupe teamed up with Christoph Hardebusch, one of Germany's bestselling authors. He is going to be releasing his new fantasy novel "Feuerstimmen" to which VAN CANTO's seventeen songs became the audio soundtrack. This story involves competing kingdoms, epic battles, dragons and the element of fire.

If the record could be summed up in one sentence it would be this:  it is a majestic, gallant adventure that every hero inside you would love to be a part of.

The opening track "Clashings On Armour Plates" sets the majestic tone, it demonstrates VAN CANTO at their best not only vocally but their ability to tell epic tales. This track contains thunderous drums and a magnificent chorus of voices from London Metro Voices, they were featured in the "Lord Of The Rings" triology therefore adding to that fantasy flair already present.

It is the ideal soundtrack to an epic fantasy; every track should be listened with the volume turned all the way up to eleven. This way the listener experiences the sheer power and epicness of the record; tracks such as latest single "The Bardcall", "Firevows (Join The Journey)""Battleday's Dawn" and "Time And Time Again" are just a few examples of this heroic feature.

It is hard to decipher whether the novel influenced the music or the other way round, that may never be known. What is clear is this majestic masterpiece is VAN CANTO's best release to date, to please the hero within it is recommended you pre-order this album.

"Voices Of Fire" is due for release by earMusic 11th March 2016.
