From their EPK, “this project was born in early 2022 from the mind of S. N. Nosfer, releasing the first Demo in April 2022. In May 2022 a collaboration with the Dark Ambient Evilness Darkness project is released, followed by a second demo in June. In December of the same year the Canti Eretici label releases a compilation of the two Demos plus an unreleased track. A few months of silence pass in which Nosfer writes and produces the first full-length, released in September by Canti Eretici. After that, Nosfer returns to the studio to compose new material, which is divided into several productions. The main one of these will be released in April 2025 by Void Wanderer Productions.”

The album has four songs, and “Ghost of Moon and Cosmic Nebula” is first. It comes out of the gate with a tense, harrowing sound, especially in the ghastly riffs. The vocals are horrid screams that sound like a man pushed to his final screams of torture before he dies. The drums pick up at lightning speed, and so does the intensity of the song. “Visions of Grim Void Possession” begins with more of that tension from the previous song, and the first guitar chord startles me. It rolls forward with thunder, lightning, and brimstone. The sounds grow increasingly sinister, until blackness covers the lands in a sickening disease. So far, this is FWOBM inspired music, although it is not as thick and grainy.

“Spawn of Celestial Decadence” has punishing tones from an ultra-heavy riff. From there, it stays low, hidden, and in the shadows, committing murder without you even knowing it. It also has a good deal of dissonance, and some haunting background sounds. “The Infinite Melancholic Sadness” closes the four-song album, and the riff lunges forward ready to sink its teeth into your exposed neck. A heavy dissonance permeates the air, which is as thick as butter. Overall, this was a pleasing album. Although the production could have been better, its raw qualities are common in the genre, and to keep the album within the confines of the past. There were some ghostly moments here, and this one will keep you up at night, with bad dreams.
