Thraw - Injecting Hate album cover

The Slovenian quintet is pretty fresh in the Metal scene, since it was formed 3 years ago and has already managed to release two demos, one of them being Injecting Hate. Since I found no interesting bio stuff I will move on to the main part of this review.

The band plays classic Thrash Metal, mostly influenced from the US scene. You know how it goes, catchy riffs, screaming vocals and all the essential ingredients for this recipe are here. The fact is that this good old fashioned Thrash Metal is good, but not good enough to attract your attention. Weak sound, ideas we have heard a million times from other bands and vocals that need some improvement. I am a true lover of Thrash Metal, but with this new trend that wants the 80's sound being brought back to life I see many crappy albums being released.

Not that THRAW is a crappy band, but surely not something able to amaze me. Not bad but need a lot of work and fresh ideas in order to make metalheads spend time and money on them.
