Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: THE HERETIC ORDER; signed via Massacre Records, hailing from England - performing Heavy Metal, on their 2nd album entitled: "Evil Rising" (released June 22nd, 2018).

Since formation in 2014; the quintet in question have the album "All Hail The Order" (released on September 25th, 2015), and this here record: "Evil Rising". 12 tracks ranging at around 53:03, THE HERETIC ORDER arrange an intricately designed formula of hard-hitting Heavy Metal developments. Starting off with the operatic opening of the "Prelude", and then the battering titular track - already I am grooving to a solid slab of concretely diverse distinctions. Conveying blistering solos and riffs, and a grandiose manifestation of relentlessly riveting energy – amalgamated with high-pitched singing which screams with a vengence, the quartet deliver a distinguished element of excelling composing that is captivating and fuelled with battle hardened hymns in which are intriguingly catchy.

Consisting of Lord Ragnar Wagner on guitars/vocals; the complex dexterity showcased here is consistently efficient in the aesthetics of crunchy melodious rhythms in the epic "Unholy War", which are contrasted with dynamic vocalization and vigorous variety. The band demonstrates unique stability with meticulous rawness, enlightened with organic substances of profusely robust executions. Count Marcel La Vey distributes diligent expertise with chugging, galloping patterns in the vehement "Hate Is Born"  - embellishing on gritty electrical, thumpy thunder as the conceptual songwriting converges with the flow of mid-tempo savagery and primitive maliciousness. The borderline foundation is full of flamboyantly orchestrated traditional Heavy Metal traits, and fulfilled with distinguished ramifications that assaults with speedy stampedes of molten metal.

Rotted Skull on the pulverizing bass establishes audible punchline salubriousness in the deadly "Omens", providing creatively constructive craftsmanship as the sound production generates original yet memorable contributions – attributing with exhilerating finesse that shines with dominantly proficient skill; Dr Pain also exhibits a boisterous frolicking of prolific yet persistent drumming adroitness, as the snappy "Mortification of the Flesh" displays more rapidly swift nimbleness of appealing beats of hammering precision. The fluidly polished hostility has tenacious effectiveness, blending a juxtaposed adequacy of jumpy melodies and grabbing hooks that are enforced with a progressively technical system. Up to this point; I found the singing is almost identical to that of Ozzy Osbourne in a doomy fashion also, which was a fascinating implementation for sure on the influence scale.

"Under The Cross Of Pain" flourishes with more razor-sharp abilities in which rampages with barraged onslaughts of empowering, vicious thrashiness and speed - while using the storytelling abstract which is sufficiently gnarly. "The Mask" has unprecedented characteristics of chorale esquire injections for that ambient atmosphere which builds up to more unrelenting bounciness, "The Forest Of The Impaled" has a similar differentiate - which adds additional JUDAS PRIEST like enthusiasm, referring to the song "Lochness" on the "Angel of Retribution" record... More influential goodness. "The Scourge Of God" pounds with more entertaining enjoyability, until the overall concluding song "Visions" finalizes the record in a splendid end.

Bottom line; I think I have covered enough with this here record, and it was a great discovery - luckily they are playing at the Bloodstock Festival in 2018 so I will surely be checking them out when I get there, good music.<
