Hell To Pay
Spartan Warrior
Metal maniacs, rejoice! I'm proud to present to you: SPARTAN WARRIOR; signed via Pure Steel Records, hailing from England - performing Heavy Metal, on their 4th album entitled: "Hell To Pay" (released February 23rd, 2018).
Since formation in 1980; the quintet in question have three albums behind them, I'm introduced to their 4th album entitled: "Hell To Pay". 10 tracks ranging at around 46:12; the quartet deliver a solid slab of hard-hitting arrangements, developing an intricately designed formula of distinguished Heavy Metal chaos. The titular track and "Bad Attitude" start off the record; constructing a punchline foundation of distinctive melodies and galloping harmonic mayhem, a bouncy yet organic aesthetic shines through the band so far - relentlessly demonstrating crunchy and thumpy substances that run fluidly. "Letting Go" distributes a lot of rhythmic orchestrations of energetically powerful instrumentation and musicianship that's proficiently executed so far.
Consisting of Neil Wilkinson on the Heavy Metal guitar; the man supplies a blistering arsenal of thunderously explosive riffs at his disposal. "Court Of Clowns" showcases complex dexterity, consistently hammering with fiercely efficient grooves that keep me captivated and motivated with an enjoyable experience. Dave Wilkinson on vocals contrasts with high-pitched expertise that has an audibly clean loudness to it, "Something To Believe" has an anthemic structure which considerably keeps the diversity widely varied by a large margin. The screams establish a ferocious velocity in "Walls Fall Down", revving a concretely melodious efficaciousness from powerhouse bassist Tim Morton who has a elegantly polished yet crystal clear sound.
"Shadowland" shows off more diligent creativity from pummeling drummer James Charlton, who sufficiently pulverizes his mettle with battering strength and skill. "Covered In Lust" has a grandiose manifestation of exquisite solos from second guitarist Dan Rochester, as they chug away with stunning executions - dominantly incorporating dynamic attributes which deserve the credit. "Fallen" excelled with an enlightening silver lining of persistently strong contributions which has a salubrious effectiveness, and with it - primitively savage fulfilments which are quite the exciting experience. Overall concluding the record with the epic "In Memorium"; I am compelled to say that SPARTAN WARRIOR certainly outdone themselves with this one.
Definitely worth discovering, as well as your money and time.
