Opening up with the mesmerizingly majestic rainfall soundscapes with a hint on a haunting operatics "Welcome To Your Nightmare", an implementation on acoustic eeriness; until this epicly catchy conundrum intrudes eardrums with meticulous melody. Manifesting this jumpy remedy on vibrantly potent synergies that revel with a forged, yet symphonic systematic on wildly rushing panache...surging with striking pursuits on punchy momentum & rhythmic virtuosity. Quintessentially unearthing this outrè maelstrom on rumbling reverberation, fuelling a bouncy aesthetic on quirky snappiness and flamboyantly driven firepower finesse that thunder with uniquely versatile vehemence while gravitating into an immersively detailed execution on synergetic gang chants & choir like hymns as it ends as it began. A chirpy essense of positively motivating upbeat songwriting musicianship so far!
Consisting of Kristoffer Göbel on vocals/guitars (rhythm); the frontman excels at a clean but fluid flow on throaty pipes that shout with mellifluous euphony. "End Of All'' captures this momentously exuberant elegance on conceptual dexterity, creating a dynamic harmony in which rollicks which chugging guitar grooves & a frolicking grandeur on hybrid experimentation, showcasing this zestfully progressive boundary on borderline èclat and a calamity foundation on triggering nimbleness.
Christoffer Borg on guitar 2 (on lead) implements these twinning crescendos in which orchestrate immersive density, sturdy weightiness & seamless solidity which towers with monolithic tightness that simply makes one feel fulfilled, in the terms of enlightening instrumental equalities. "In God We Trust" begins with this ritualistic church-like chant in a somewhat religious setting, until this amplification in boisterous contrast intensifies with prodigious yet profusely robust synthetics – while remaining tunefully solid and consistently fable fuelling this resonating slab on killer laceration mobility that romps up with sublime tempos that engage a lofty momentum on distinctively distinguished craftsmanship ability.
More spellbinding yet marvellously sulphurous magnificence that will rattle your soul with this razor-sharp empowerment as "In The Eyes Of The World" comes into play next, with rocking yet rambunctious drum hammering from Henrik Hedman (also on backing vocals) rambunctiously pummels the set with steely & grinding precision. Battering into a barrage frenzy on rampant stompiness, while everyone else storms with trailblazing yet tempestuous sophistication. A blitzing medley of organic substance, thrilling solos & this rapidly swift maelstrom proficiencies salubriously flair a piledriving scatter on sanguine but cheerful instrumentation equalities allow heads a healthy dose of buoyantly intriguing but enticing anthems. "Blood Will Out" is equally memorable, with the chorus articulating entrancing styles that vibrate with this spliffing spectrum on subtle vibrato patterns within the strong & rich tone.
Audible bassist Markus Gustafsson injects an infectiously venomous thump on rawly rough meatiness that continuously combats eardrums with this neat contortion of echoing but booming distortion that will oscillate your body and feet in no time. "The Last Days Of Our Lives" distils a chiselling fabrication on more persistently groovy hybrids in experimental grinds, and more of those resounding singsong attributes in which revolves around a fundamental flexibility on utmost heavenly appeals in the vast landscape of this pleasing musical sweep. "Finale Vittori" angelically trials more poetic lyricism prowess that merges meticulous ramifications with more of those group chant hypnotisments and a somewhat volatile shout-along embellishment, establishing an enriching auroma on glee mixed with dark but twisted possessions that tower with triumphant vibes with impactful force - especially in "Abducted".
Racing with rhythmic radiance, while shredding with sonically relentless mellow "I Am Your King" executes a more wild but extreme approach as the various varieties diverse into a thrashing maelstrom that unleashes this sudden outburst on relentless chaos, and chugging frolicks while this unravelling aggression comes out of nowhere midway which reigns supreme within your speakers to break chairs over other chairs! "Edge Of The World" examines more of those positive ballad-esquite singalong that will make you want to touch the sky with fists held high, until the penultimate track: "Oblivion" is another bulldozing headbanger that rages with blistering attacks and immersively enthusiastic diligence until the closing epic "Break The Wheel" conjures up this mammoth spectrum on thrilling thuds with hasty complexity to boot for maximum musical efficaciousness in motivating pleasantries.
Bottom line; I am compelled to say that SIX FOOT SIX certainly outdone themselves for their sophomoric release, this splice of life slice on marvellous velocity & impulse delivers a splendid offering of some tasty mergers on melodic Heavy Metal/Hard Rock creativity in which took me by surprise while exceeding any expectations I once had..
