SECTU is a Death Metal band hailing from Sweden a place  well known  for having produced some awesome Death Metal bands such as DISMEMBER, VOMITORY, DEMONICAL... Previously known as CIMMERIAN DOME the name was changed in 2011 to SECTU by their founder and only remained member Stefan Lundgren.

Having already released two full length albums, "Inundated" and "Guerra" they now unleash their new effort entitled "Nefarious" and they do keep alive that good reputation that  Sweden is known for, producing the best Death Metal bands to torment the world. "Fiery Initiator" a great title to initiate the attack, intensity and brutality, that's how I define their music, yet it has melody, the guitars kick asses, very heavy and sharp as a razor and Stefan vocals are amazing, it reminds me of Dan Swano mixed up with VOMITORY and Ross Dolan from IMMOLATION. Is that bad? Fuck no!! it's awesome, it grows and grows on you, it's so spectral, "Onset Of Destruction" the second track is the perfect definition of what SECTU are about, the heaviness of the whole album is amazingly hard to believe, it has this special vibe that gets you from the inside and erupts like a volcano and you feel like worms crawling on your skin, very nice guitar work, double bass kicking all the way along with the bass thus giving it that typical Swedish sounding.

"Perpetual Spectre" a fucking heavy song with diabolic vocals and melodic solos, one of the heaviest song I have heard in a while, "Tenebrous" is falling onto mankind destroying everything on its path, SECTU have managed to create a wicked album, technically is beyond very good, the songs are well arranged, Stefan Lundgren has recruited some fantastic

Musicians to join him and produce this incredibly good album, song after song it only gets better and better, when crossing the "River Of Oblivion" and if you survive the ordeal you can choose to become "The Usurper" conquering and destroying and forever to be "The Wanderer" going when no Men have ever gone, that's exactly what SECTU have done here, given us this masterpiece.

As production goes, ViciSolum Productions has done a great job overall and the artwork cover is also awesome, hail "Nefarious" hail SECTU!
