SE DELAN is a new musical project which consists of a meeting between two musicians, Justin Greaves is the first known to be the founder of CRIPPLED BLACK PHEONIX and the second is the singer Belinda Kordic worked mainly under the name KILLING MOOD. The duo released their first album, "The Fall" under the label Kscope.

From the beginning let's say, this is not a Metal record. With ten tracks, this album is a collection of pieces with an ambient and atmospheric conception that sometimes borders on Folk music. The Progressive rock appearance is present with variable amounts depending on the song. The ethereal and angelic voice of Belinda Kordic is very present in the music. The multi-instrumentalist Justin Greaves uses instruments with a gentle way to keep music around a hypnotic tendency without much technical element which are not necessary.

Throughout the album and after a first listen I can say that this is a linear one and a bit boring sometimes. But this is not true if you replay it several times, several post deduction bottom surface. The purpose of the music of SE DELAN is deeper than the voice of Belinda Kordic or softness of the instrumental parts of Justin Greaves. This album is supposed to listen with a tired moral and soft lighting to really feel the tones. Looking through all the pieces, I noticed that the music takes strength and maturation; it seems that the both musicians needed some time to find a symbiosis. I speak especially of the songs "On My Way" and "Never Lost Found", two pieces perfectly executed.

This album is great for those seeking a cold and experimental music all staying in the Rock sphere. I think the two musicians have not exploited all their ideas, I think that they can do better than "The Fall". This is may be a strategy to keep the best for the future.
