Satan Worship - Teufelssprache album cover

Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: SATAN WORSHIP; signed via Folter Records, hailing from Brazilian grounds and the glory of Germany - performing Black/Thrash Metal, on theit sophomore album entitled: "Teufelssprache" (released January 31st, 2020).

Since formation in 2011; the trio in question have a Demo entitled: "Poison & Blood" (released February 26th, 2015), 2 Full-Length Albums entitled: "I'm The Devil" (released March 10th, 2017) & this here album that I'm about to review entitled: "Teufelssprache". 9 tracks ranging at around 36:01, SATAN WORSHIP arrange an intricately designed formula of heavy-hitting Black/Thrash Metal amalgamations. Injecting an infectiously-driven bass frolicking from audible bassist/vocalist Leatherface Perkele the frontman begins this record with this tight chug in the opening belter: "Death Incarnate"; a hardened hymn fuelled into a blistering barraged frenzy of monstrously meaty hooks, distorted calamities & an amplified adrenaline of uniquely versatile vehemence of trailblazing strumming while merging syncronized throaty snarls with killer lungs of raspy yet piping shrieks that manifest blood-curdling viciousness.

Consisting of Max The Nekromancer on guitars; this shredder meticulously rips with blistering firepower, complex dexterity and a gnarly fabrication of sonically seamless finesse. Implementing an experimental dynamic, embellishing creatively complex craftsmanship contrasting crunchy harmonies and deadly lacerations that surge with rapidly swift nimbleness while showcasing organic substance with volatile savagery. "Under The Sign Of The Reaper" salubriously portrays dominately detailed Crust Punk styles reminisent to that of the mighty TOXIC HOLOCAUST; grinding into a hybrid dimension of thrashing malevolence, with primitively raw maelstroms of rough melody & catchy executions impressively detailing groovy distinctions of rocketing mayhem - chaotically forging immersively intense virtuosity & quintessential technicalities.

"The Last Day of Paul John Knowles" harnesses an adroitly composed aesthetic of riveting rhythms; speedy piledriving retribution, and a battering hammering from drumming powerhouse Marc Reign El Patron. Rambunctiously slamming with steely precision; triggering sulpurously skillful patterns, polished fluidity and a wildly rushing synergy of razor-sharp vibrancy. Potently unleashing quirky snappiness of outrè panache, rampant heat and combustible haste. "Satanik Werewolves" articulates in a imaginative approach; culminating that sinister slab of solid punchiness, jumpy foundations and borderline flamboyancy. Demonstrating pulsating thumpiness, sublime devastation and a healthy overdose of relentless warfare. SATANIC WORSHIP harald an old-school remedy, juxtaposting modernized ramifications with punishing and hostile efficiency - also efficaciously adding roaring werewolf soundscapes that mesmerizes you with the menacing transistion of songwriting memorability & while also having a brutal blast inbetween.

"Motherfuckers from the Apokalipse" revels with mandatory pandemonium; ruthlessly quaking with rumbling reverberation while striking soul-flying ritualism, and a frantically captivating instrumentation distributes fiery havoc that revolves around a diverse arsenal of scorching hellfire and demonic chunkiness. "La Catedral" examines an enriching overarch of oozing abilities fusing agility; energy, and mid-tempo madness. Supplying bruising hymns, hardened grit while reving rampaging yet stampeding hooks and a bombastic strife of neck-breaking acceleration. "Mass Murder" is basically this whole record's premise, while repelling prodegiously persistent perseverence with thunderous uproar & rioting anarchy. Displaying a hypnotic yet mind-bending establishment of satanic hullabaloo, entrenching a massive sweltering of smothering rage that scatters with window-shattering proportions.

The penultimate track "Antichrist" is a consistent cover of the SEPULTURA staple classic; a surprising performance that mimics the original in excellent fashion, using SATANIC WORSHIP's own spice to the mix which captures and distils a fantastic but evolving element to the band's already impressive trademark sound production. Resulting in a flavour that's very tasteful, while remaining true to the original at its very yet utmost best. Overall concluding "Teufelssprache" with the memorably epic finale entitled: "Aokigahra" where we witness an extremely aggressive but crisp chorus section that makes one yell out AOKIGAHRA!! in a tribal sense of vibe; this song will make one chant, bang and ultimately raise fists in a air-guitar blitz. All in all; I enjoyed an incredibly entertaining experience that most certainly deserves a listen, I discovered a band in which has a lot of remarkably splendid replay value while serving my unquenchable thirst and fix for a headbanging but full-throttle time that exercises an inner motivation within. Check it out!
