With a name like SADISTIC GOATMESSIAH you know they gotta be good. And they are. On September 19, 2025, you can find out for yourself when the German Thrash/Black Metal trio release their full-length debut, Violence, via Dying Victims Productions and Fucking Kill Records. It’s ten tracks of evil, violence, and blasphemy which hearken to the glory days of FWOBM.

While its musical roots go back as far as the 80’s, SADISTIC GOATMESSIAH traces its own inception to 2013 when they emerged from the bowels of hell as a duo with vocalist and guitarist Morbid Goatpriest of Lust, Filth and Mayhem and drummer Goat Primator.  In 2021 the band expanded to a trio as it took on the third and final member, bassists Goatess of Fire. Today they are a complete coven, and they mean your eardrums and your soul much harm.

The album starts off with a short intro which is capped on to “Iron Lungs – The Choirs of Hell” but it's less than a minute before the mayhem ensues. The intro is both eerie and effective, establishing an uneasy atmosphere before hell rains down. This first track, btw, is a killer as all good opening tracks should be. It definitely sets the tone for the rest of the album—loud and discordant. One of my favorite tracks. Other standouts include “Curse of Eternal Winter” which has an utterly brutal break at the 3:03 mark; the Doom-infused “Stainless Steel”; and “Witchfire” which is probably the most inventive track of the lot with dissonant tremolo at the start, a downright haunting solo mid-flight, and a hardcore outro. 

Highly enjoyable this one. The band name and the album cover pretty much say it all. This is unadulterated raw, fundamental Black and Thrash the way that Satan meant it to be.
