Revlin Project - Transcender album cover

REVLIN PROJECT are a Hard Rock/Melodic Rock band who hail from Peru. The band was formed by Nilver Perez in 2005. The band released the new album "Transcender" on March 29th 2021. It's an album that contains 13 new songs, 3 of which are bonus tracks in Spanish. The band gained a lot of popularity in 2017 by reaching the status of being in the top 10 best releases in several countries. Their song "Take Me To You" was given recognition in Peru as the best song of 2017. The new album "Transcender" was recorded at Solar Empire Studio in Peru, Hunter Studios in Chile and Alpha Studio in Brazil. The executive producer of the new album is Carsten Nielsen. The band are under the record label Lion's Pride Music, who are based in Denmark.

Opening the album is a song called "World Within" which is a song that makes you feel good to be alive. It's a song about being ready for a new life. Perhaps one with new challenges to face and overall accomplish dreams old or new. The song is a positive one with positive vibes. Song number 2 is "Live Again" which is a love song. It's one that's upbeat & flamboyant in its lyrics making a declaration of love & the way his heart beats for her is obvious for all to see.

On to song number 3 on the new album which is called "Take Me To You." This is a more sombre song than the opening song. It starts with the keyboards and is joined by the other instruments being played. Then the vocals kick in and bring the lyrics to life. The song speaks of times past with a lover who is no longer around. Together they created a magical world to live in, but apart they are weaker & seem lost. Quite a tragic song about regret.

Song number 7 "Keep Holding On" is another love song. The music is played rather well and the instruments gel together well with the vocal accompaniment. The song is passionate & burns with desire to be together with his soulmate. It is a song that has a lot of depth to the lyrics about how anything is possible as long as they are together, they can face any situation life throws at them. Song number 10 is "'Till The End" and to me this comes across as a song that was meant to entice someone who is a friend into trying to take the friendship to another level as lovers. The song seems to focus on how good they would be together and how they would be together 'till the end.

This album has been a passionate album to listen to and also quite an inspiring album. I have enjoyed it very much and feel I can relate to some of the songs as many people will. It is an album that shows desire, wanting, love & friendship and the ways they can bring you strength. Overall, I would recommend this album to the fans of the band as I don't see any bad spots. I don't speak Spanish, so I couldn't understand the bonus songs, however I still enjoyed the music.
