Perfect Plan are back their fourth studio album “Heart Of A Lion”.In 2018 they released their debut album “All Rise” to critical acclaim to cement their foundations in the Melodic Rock Music scene not only in their home country Sweden but the also worldwide.”Time For Miracle “ the follow up in 2020 was even better than the debut,”Brace For Impact” album number three had a more heavier side ,different to the first two albums .Lead singer Kent Hilli is a very busy guy also releasing two solo records the superb “The Rumble” in 2021 and “Nothing To Lose” in 2023 and also current lead singer for Giant with the album “Shifting Time” released in 2022,with another new album due in May Kent is very much in demand.

“Heart Of A Lion” is a powerful solid melodic rock track of course the title track is solid from the beginning to the end,this is how melodic rock should sound,powerful chorus,powerful melody and the vocals are outstanding.”We Are Heroes” has positivity in droves,the lyrics deliver such a powerful message,again such quality to the melody,the keys are immense and prominent.”All Night” has this great guitar riff which along with the keys build to one almighty epic chorus Kent Hilli's vocal range is insane outstanding track.”Turn Up Your Radio” is that song for cruising the highways on a hot summers night,forgetting your troubles and having a great time a feel good anthemic track.”My Unsung Hero” is so powerful,heartfelt and sincere full of emotion,with Kent sadly losing his Dad recently the lyrics I feel are dedicated to him , very relatable if you have lost a love one a very very touching tribute,very moving.”Ready To Break” is on the money with Rolf Nordstrom delivering a great guitar solo,Fredrik Forsberg and Mats Bystrom solid with the rhythm. I love the keyboards Leah Ehlin delivers in “Too Tough” very high up in the mix with clarity,great chords and effects another big melodic track.”Lady Mysterious” is more of a rocker than AOR/Melodic,the melody is infectious,with a solid powerful vocal to match,the guitar solo is fire,the chorus is ear worm.”One Touch” is that track the likes of Dianne Warren and Desmond Child should have written in their heyday it has hit written all over it,and would have been played everywhere in the 80's,the chorus is addictive and stays in you head.”Danger On The Loose” is another rock with again a vocal masterclass ,from Kent Hilli, the musicianship from the rest of the band is exceptional.”At Your Stone” finishes the album with no loss of momentum or quality a powerful end to a powerful record.

Perfect Plan have delivered a Melodic Rock album of pure class. Eleven fantastic tracks with great lyrics,melodies with outstanding production .Kent Hilli delivers a vocal masterclass and for me has one of the best voices in Melodic Rock today and if Survivor ever reformed Jim Peterik should give Kent a call!Perfect Plan as a band are one of the best bands around in this genre,another superb Swedish group,a formidable force. Highly recommend this album,one of the albums of the year,the best album I have heard in 2025 so far. I would love them to tour the UK one day!
