This album was previously released in 2017 on cassette. This was their first release and have only since gone onto making three splits and one live album. Costa Rica is not a place that I think of when thinking of Death and Doom, I think more zip-lining tours, whitewater rafting, kayaking, scuba diving, cliff diving, and sky diving, among other adrenaline-pumping activities. Let's hear what they did on this tape, was there a reason it was the only non-split studio release?

"Trascending the Emanating Filth from the Fathers of the Christian Church" this song is 6 minutes and 16 seconds long. Coincidence? The song starts very much with the doom feeling in full swing. The pace is slow and the tempo itself is more sludge than anything else. It was a demo of course, so we have to take that into consideration. There are a few experimental sounds and aspects thrown in here, but the song does not flow very well. The lack of change in vocals sees them almost phase out, just due to the lack of interest in them.

"The Splendour of His Holiness" is a longer song, which already makes me sigh. To start off, it is no different to the previous song and this theme continues through the entire song. There are more random pulled notes on the guitar that just distort the melodies, for no real gain. After a while it just became boring and with every missed chance to change the outcome of the song it kept losing points.

"The Fallacy of the Cursed Empire" kinda takes off in the same way, no wait, exactly the same way. Clear lack of variation here. This album could have just been one long song. The pace increases in similar vain to how it has in the last 2 songs, but the intensity does not.

You can see why these guys didn't make a full-length album, there is not enough variation in their material. Found myself just watching the timer to see how long I was having to endure each song. There maybe some fans of this record, I don't know who, but it is not me, as im sure you will have worked out.
