Vigarv is a twelve minute, four track assault from a three person collective carving their own path through the extreme underground. Entirely self-written, self-recorded, and independently released, this marks their second EP. Raw, unapologetic, and chaotic, it channels a visceral blend of death metal and blackened aggression. Rebecca’s immense vocals are all delivered in Swedish. The EP erupts with Forruttnelse, launching straight into a maelstrom of blast beats, jagged riffing, and death soaked chaos with harsh, guttural vocals that sometimes plunge into cavernous depths. The performance feels spontaneous and wild.

Lognarnas Tempel is up next and a subtle shift takes place. Melodic black metal undertones seep into the mix, weaving through a mad wall of sound. Rebecca's vocal delivery becomes more elongated and the title phrase is repeated sporadically through the track. The title track Vigarv keeps the pressure on, but eases into a slower, more atmospheric second half with spasmodic drumming.  It ends with an unsettling fractured guitar.

Smarta Som Beloning closes the EP with a pounding rhythmic drive that makes it near impossible to resist a headbanging moment. Harsh almost spoken word vocals pierce through tightly wound riffs that carry a hint of blackened death. As the track winds down, it disintegrates into fading noise and reverb, like the remnants of a storm slowly swallowed by silence. Vigarv doesn’t strive for polish, it thrives on its raw energy and conviction. While some structural refinement could sharpen its impact, the EP delivers a brutal blast of death metal expression with a personality all of its own.
