The latest installment from Chicago, Illinois Doom/Death Metal outfit NOVEMBER DOOM is a spectacle for fans of the band and the genre Doom/Death Metal.

As it gloomily opens with the song "Bled White" where it gives you the perfect combination of two genres of Metal merging into one, I understand this is no easy task but these metal heads know how to pull it off exceedingly well. The versatile collection of brilliant metal songs from "Just Breath" to "Clear" provided me with a great insight to their sound being a brand new listener to the band.

As I listen to the album two artists come to mind; the Death side reminding me of NILE with the brutal vocals and the clean vocals reminding me of Industrial Metal giants RAMMSTEIN; it's a mix that is quite different to what I usually hear but it works.

"The Silent Dark" gives the listener a great conclusion to this fest of Doom/Death Metal.

So as you can tell from the glowing praise I thoroughly enjoyed this album; it also made a great soundtrack for my jog this afternoon.
