Right out of the gate the newest album by thrash groove metal outfit No Worth of Man, The Killing Streets engulfs the listen in a blistering wall of sound. This album released on February 13th, 2026. The band, from South Hampton UK, combines the sounds of thrash and groove with the distant, brutal heaviness of death metal. Punishing riffs, pummeling drums, and blistering vocals all combine to create an amazing sound, a sound that you can definitely get down to.  From the opening track, I Defy, which kicks the record into high gear with such pummeling sound it knocks your socks off, I knew I was in for something special. The energy this band has and their presence is infectious. It's s0mething that a lot of bands aspire to, but some never quite meet; this band and album blew my expectations out of the water. It's music with such technical prowess; everyone in the record has mastered their part. From the down tuned bass sections to the intense chugging of the lead guitar to the demonic vocals sweeping the listener into an unimaginable fury, this album has it all.

Those of a Kind is a standout track from this album in my mind with a very groovy opening. Mountains of riffs combined with steady drumming to create an almost danceable beat which then begins to quicken its pace as the song goes along. It's definitely a track I could picture men and women moshing too, sweat slicked bodies thrashing back and forth on a dirty, sticky venue floor. The band commands your attention in the best way possible. It's nothing new and nothing inventive, just straight, thrash madness from beginning to end. Songs like Death Reflections and The Hands Resist Him showcase the power and fury emanating from No Worth of Man. An Unpaintable Soul is my favorite song on the album because of the groovy chugging of the guitars along with the bombastic drumming, but the vocals on this are also more impressive to me than any other song on the album. The low screams hit low and the vocalist even throws in some ragged, high pitched screams which piercing the air.

Overall, this album is incredible. From the technicality of the instrumentation, to how everything perfectly blends cohesively together in a massive whirlwind of heavy metal, the album has a lot to appease the biggest of metal hands. I'd definitely rate this album an 8/10 stars.
