What started as a creative project from five of Sweden's finest musicians quickly moulded into a fully fledged band. Following three critically acclaimed albums which were recorded at studios such as the iconic Abbey Road Studios ,Night Hawk start a new chapter in their journey with “Six Three O” which was recorded in Wales at the legendary Rockfield Studios where classic albums from Queen and Oasis were born. This group of Swedish powerhouses features members of Night Flight Orchestra,Captain Blackbeard,Soilwork and Black Paisley which is led by Robert Majd (Captain Black Beard) on guitars,Björn Strid (Soilwork,Night Flight Orchestra) on vocal,John Lönnmyr (Night Flight Orchestra) on keyboards,Magnus Ulfstedt (Soilwork,Night Flight Orchestra) on bass and Rasmus Ehrnborn (Black Paisley) on drums.

From pressing play on this album the opening catchy melody of “Hard Rock Warrior” bursts through my speaker in superb style the catchy chugging melody with some infectious guitar riffs with the swirly Hammond Organ style touches.”Wrong Side Of Desire” has that flamboyant seventies style/early eighties AOR sound Night Flight Orchestra are known for ,stamped all over this track,where as “Home Tonight” is leaning more towards a 70's classic rock vibe with Robert Majd unleashing a great guitar solo.”Angel Of Mine” stays in the same vein & style with a prominent deep bass groove courtesy of Rasmus Ehrnborn with lots of trippy keyboard trickery from John Lönnmyr.”I Am The Night” is a mid tempo rocker which again is a nod in the direction of classic rock Björn Strid stands tall with a commanding vocal performance,which flows along nicely which for me is reminiscent of Thin Lizzy.”Losing My Mind” a short track which is very much guitar laden,with Magnus Ulfstedt also letting go with some pounding drum work.”Cut You Loose” has a great catchy melody and nice vocals.”Turn To Me” is a power ballad style track,a slower tempo track with a great keyboard solo.”Man On The Silver Mountain” is another 70's classic rock vibe laden track with some powerful vocals and high energy melody & rhythm to end this album in fine style.

Night Hawk deliver another great solid album with “Six Three 0” .These five Swedish Musicians deliver a fine album full of Classic Rock/AOR full of great melodies,vocals & guitars. The production is really good and brings out the best in the bands sound. A very solid release and worth a listen if Classic Rock/AOR is your prefered musical taste.
