Oath Of Abhorrence
Necromutilator
Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: NECROMUTILATOR; signed via Osmose Productions, hailing from Italian grounds - performing Black/Death/Thrash Metal, on their 3rd full-length studio album entitled: "Oath Of Abhorrence" (released October 28th, 2022). Since formation in 2009; the trio in question have a demo entitled: "The Devil Arisen" (released 2011), an EP entitled: "Ripping Blasphemy" (released April 1st, 2017), 3 full-length albums entitled: "Eucharistic Mutilations" (released December 1st, 2014), "Black Blood Aggression" (released March 30th, 2019) & this here 3rd album (and first release on the record label) entitled "Oath Of Abhorrence" of which I am introduced to. 8 tracks ranging around 33:04; NECROMUTILATOR arranges an intricately designed formula on some heavy-hitting Black/Death/Thrash Metal combinations.
Opening up with this spoken word ritual; a cinematic horror-flick introduces "Oath Of Abhorrence" with snarly scours & blistering barrage frenzies in boisterously bouncy rumbles on reverberating rollicks within "Raise The Necroapocalypse", a bulldozing Armageddon in distorted gnarliness trembles speakers with sturdy tightness amongst an amplified adrenaline of symbolic virtuosity that thuds out razor-sharp tempo whilst wildly rushing stampedes rampage with savagely seamless rage that will trample heads into a bludgeoning Black/Death/Thrash Metal raze that's most ruthless. Pandemonic brutality best describes this record so far; belting a clobbering heft in bestial firepower expertise amongst a fierce calamity on sonically wrathful witchcraft that's vehemently synergized with versatile volatility and concretely gritty malformation of sulfurous retribution that thunders out some solidly profane blasphemies for good measure to start your day off rightly with.
Consisting of P on vocals/guitars; front man rager rivets with nothing but bleeding gutturals and grunty growls that roar with raspy throatiness while rifting with tremoring guitar frolics in which relentlessly manifests with some snappy dexterity, "Cremation Sorcery" surges with monolithic tempo amongst a flamboyant desegregation mobility on experimental flickers that thump out with stompy ramifications on monstrously meaty bass audibility from E. who pile drives his axe with rambunctious stability. Same said for hammering drummer R who batters his set with steely precision and galloping impact, impulsing eardrums with radically wicked transparency on primitively raw finesse in dark but deadly pursuits that strike with slamming smacks that swelter speakers with nothing but dense headedness amongst a choppy crunch in chunky riffage that's most gruesome.
"Great Lord Of Desecration" continues to throttle unexpected souls with more virulent substance on organic persistence of persevering strife that stridently unearths some killer laceration momentum that's utilized with punchy weight & madly salubrious speed that profusely motors with razing demolition amongst a vigorously rigorous vivacity on robust songwriting musicianship that's executed intensely with severe malignance to boot. "Altar Of The Final Sodomy" compiles more ponderous strength that merges with the rapidly nimble rampancy well while the rompy but clamorously cavernous grumbles that tower with seething transgression while trailblazing with yet sinister proportion that skyrockets with vibrantly potent malevolence of oppressive sulfurity. "Temple Of The Execrating Death" transpires with just that; nasty yet rancorously thick filth induces an aggressively fueled conundrum in barbaric inhumanity, slabbing with degenerating grooves and distilled distinctions in distinguished but berserking exhilaration that's most bombastic, also firing an all cylinder crescendo on top of an all guns blazing repertoire of tremolo piercing masquerades that's rather booming.
"Baphomet's War Fire" forges hellish havoc among the masses with vicious mayhem & maelstrom abhorrence in fervor driven anarchy in a bleak but disastrously chaotic array of terrifying devilment in a heinous formation in borderline yet prestigious Satanism that rebels with diabolical ghastliness in a ghoulish abomination in foul instrumental revolt that's rather splendidly repugnant. The penultimate banger "Enthroned Upon Megiddo" implements an intriguing element in more venomous injections in infectious hostility in a bitter but evil empowering slander of sanguinary menace, while the overall concluding epic "Malevolent Blood" finishes the record with primal combustion in an archaic archetype in prolific and extreme aggression that makes "Oath Of Abhorrence" a brilliant album of these subgenres with grandiose immensity that will please most metal maniacs with its desecrating force of outrageously marvelous fury in which most surely deserves a good bunch of spins & re-playable listens should you fancy a healthy dose in Black/Death/Thrash Metal mastery. Worthy of discovery and experiencing; as an insane hysteria in enjoyably creative craftsmanship ability infinitely unleashes motivating, head banging belligerence that needs your attention - do check it out.
