Yes Death Metal from England, it has been such a long time since I have come across with a fine English Death Metal band like CANCER, GOMORRAH and BENEDICTION, the waiting it's over because now we have MONUMENTOMB, a fine quartet formed in 2013 and hailing from Kent in the UK. I am very happy with that, happy because England have done so much for the Metal scene and its people are mega cool and such a lovely country indeed and Death Metal is pounding hard in our hearts, therefore I give a big welcome to MONUMENTOMB.

The CD front cover is totally ass kicker, excellent work and the music follows that path, it is brutal, technical, raw and old school style, opening the CD we have a "Intro" with a scary atmosphere followed by "Ritual Exhumation" as the smell of Death fills the air, Byron vocals with that deep and harsh voice tearing up flesh as he sings away into the abysm, sharp guitars, savage riffs and killer solos and all comes together in perfect harmony, a master piece really, very interesting song, changes of tempo, fast double kicking and bass lines working beautifully with the drums thus making the song very heavy indeed making you feel like being devoured alive, "In the Crypt Devoured" again the same catching melodies with that incredible vocals getting your guts from the inside. This is Death Metal at its best with no crap arrangements only skills and sharp tools to maim.

It feels like "Perennial Interment" a never ending delivery of great riffs, devastation and incredible skills, these guys really know how to butcher and once again raise the English flag very high, an excellent EP MONUMENTOMB have given us, "Perpetual Execution Torment" is the price to pay, great song with fast pace a maniac out on the loose, fans of DEMONICAL will love this EP, "Citadel Of The Living Dead" blasting in your face more pure Death Metal, crushing bones, razor sharp solos and demonical vocals. There is no escape really.
A master piece EP, as production goes, perfect, amazing, I love  everything about this EP, and thinking that these guys have only been together for a little over than six months it makes us wonder what they will come up with when they get older, please give us more and I would love to see MONUMENTOMB chopping up heads live.
