Anatomy :She
Maxilla

Originating in the New York tri-state area and now based in Ohio, Maxilla was founded in 2018 by vocalist and guitarist Haley Cronin . She started classical vocal training at age 7, later expanding into guitar during high school under the guidance of Rob Thorne from Sacred Oath. That background of discipline and fire fuels "Anatomy: She" a record built on truth, emotion, and a sharp edge. The album draws blood from influences old and new, Iron Maiden, Metallica, and Black Sabbath on one side, Halestorm and Paramore on the other.
The title track opens this album with a vocal intro which is dynamic, also crystal clear before we kick into "Overlook" which is very guitar driven, the riffing is strong & prominent with the perfect mix of bass & drums the vocals are delivered with strength and clarity it gives me a touch of 80's gothic vibes."Half Life" is a heavy mid paced number, which sounds a monster of a track blasting through my speakers.Next track up "Shit Solioquy" has catchy tones which progress at pace, with a modern punk feel. The strong heavy riffs lead in another punchy fast paced offering with some darker vocal moments "Rite Of Endurance" is another strong track with dynamic delivery."My Creatures" is a lot darker both vocally and musically slower paced in places but some great heavy distorted riffs. The album concludes with a short track called "And The Bleeding Ceases" which has a deep thundering bass and gritty guitar riffs with those distinctive vocals from Haley Cronin (Maxilla) .
"Anatomy:She" is a very dynamic & polished produced album, where every instrument & vocals have the perfect balance.Vocally Haley Cronin (Maxilla) has a strong presence whether it's a calm moment in the track or a more powerful intense one.A great debut album which is a great listen and an artist/band with great potential.
