Love/Hate burst onto the scene 35 years ago in 1990 with the classic album “Black Out In The Red Room”,the follow up “Wasted In America” in 1992.Over the years Jizzy Pearl has released solo material & also different versions of Love/Hate have toured and recorded albums,with Jizzy also having stints in various versions of LA Guns,Ratt & Adlers Appetite. This is the first Love/Hate album since 2022 which was “Hell CA” under the name Jizzy Pearls Love/Hate. .March 2025 saw Love/Hate tour the UK to celebrate the 35^th anniversary of “Blackout In The Red Room” playing the album in it's entirety with a date also at the iconic The Whiskey in LA on July 4th 2025 . In January 2026 sees the band continue the 35^th anniversary with a tour of Australia. At the age 0f 67 with more touring to come along with this new album “Punk Rock Fiesta” Jizzy Pearl is still firing on all cylinders!

“You're Gonna Burn” is a very solid opening track solid drums,deep bass with killer guitar riffs with Jizzy Pearl belting out some great vocals.”An Eye For An Eye” along with “Wrath Of Love” have that classic Sunset Strip vibe full of sleaze & attitude,laced with that pop/punk sound short 2 and a half minute tracks of high energy.”Over The Edge” (not a cover of the LA Guns classic track),a slower paced track but still has a heavy old school Love/Hate style sound..”Do Ya Think You Can Fall In Love” goes to back to that manic fast paced rocker with some balls!”Could Be Wrong” however is a more darker,creepy & sinister track with some eerie “La La La's” ,with some cool guitar runs & solo parts.”I'll Be Your Shadow” is another dark & really threatening track which tells of the obsession from the stalkers perspective,with "Time To Take Your Pill" the album ends with another high octane rock n' roll belter of a track in fine style.

“ Punk Rock Fiesta!” is a short album but it doesn't half pack one hell of an almighty punch! Mr Pearl is in fine form vocally despite his age,which still sounds as strong as it did 35 years ago. A very strong release,which I will be playing on rotation for a long time. A Great album which should not be passed up on.
