LOUDGUNS is a Hard Rock/ Heavy Metal band from Finland, influenced by the classic sound of the eighties. Paying homage to its most iconic bands, this record was released originally in 2011 and is now reedited due to the continuous petition of the band's most loyal fans.  "Broken Highway" was reedited at the end of last year as a reflection of a younger version of the band seen through a new perspective in order to reprise their successful debut album with this reissue seven years later. This album is a celebration of rebelliousness and youth, an example of how there is a taste and passion for things we might have thought extinct an how amazing it is how every single genre of music can find professionals  passionate enough about it, to recall, revive and reinsert their original essence many years later. This Finnish band found solace in the most common stereotypes of Rock and Roll music from the decade of the eighties, and still manage to accomplish a very effective assortment of power ballads, ideal for a long drive across the Californian pacific coast highway after a long day of surfing and making painful decisions about heartbreak and lover's quarrels .

The subject of love is addressed in every single one of the songs in this album, and the forbidden love and rebellious teenage lyrics where overwhelmingly repetitive along with the broadway musical voice that the lead vocals acquire from time to time. The production in accordance to the new technologies and a more resourceful band provides a better experience for the diehard fans, but provides very little when it comes to innovation or the depiction of a new proposal when almost the entire album sounds like the soundtrack of an American muscle car advertisement produced in 1988.

The ninth track "Broken Highway"  on the other hand had a more obscure feel to it, and allowed the band to show a further extent of their talent breaking loose from the hair band mold highlighting the work of the lead guitar as the most outstanding part of this record and the potential of band that can begin to evolve based on it's most talented performers and the complete mastery of their primal genre.
