Almost two decades after it creations LOKURAH keeps up the good pace by the release of their 3rd full-length-album returns to the stage after ten years of hiatus, in this dormant time the band seems to have gone in search of different directions referring to their previous two albums, bringing more clean vocals, a more melodic sound cleaned and worked,  not that it's better or worse than your older siblings, not because we noticed a gender change here, but it's certainly more modern and up-to-date. Regarding the production, mixing and mastering done by the Fredrik NORDSTRÖM at Fredman Studio, everything sounded good to me, highlights to the amazing album cover done by Stan W Decker. "Distorted Truth" counts with twelve tracks and about forty minutes long.

Starting with "Void Factory" where the band scans their new changes the before intense and pure trash now becomes a modern hardcore, of course we can notice some old nuances present, such as the guitar riffs barging quickly for much of the song, but Alexandre Gelliot shows inventive floating between guttural and clean vocals, being the first with enough emotion and brutality. "In Vain" further searches the roots of the French band, with intensity she manages to deliver a very melodic chorus while its stanzas follow at a growing pace.

In the meanwhile, "Copyrighted 666" completes the half spinning to the circle, being faithful to band origins carrying no clean vocal this song presents itself as the hardest and strongest of the entire work, and although it has company in keeping the cleans from for as "In Grey These Times" it is much more direct and less melodic. "The Berserkers' Master" brings a nice bass intro and works very well on time break and changes during its progress, for me, perhaps it is the track of the new work of the quartet that I liked the most, the fact of getting out of the way and bringing something more diverse pleased me a lot. "Defiled" ends the circle in a very similar way to how it started, something very modern and planned, I personally liked the direction that the band took, making it recommend "Distorted Truth" and keep my expectations highs for the band's next works.
