Hailing from Texas USA ,Killer Hearts are a leather clad electrifying rock n' roll band who were formed in 2015 led by brothers, Jerrie Boy Barger & Brandon Barger.They started out as punk/psych/garage band called The Wrong Ones.The brothers have played together for 20 years with Brandon been the lead singer of Heavy Metal band Cobra since 2019.The band has seen several line up changes over the years with the Barger Brothers have remained the main song writers of the band have now finally settled on a solid line up with Domokos Benzcedi on bass and Hector Tenario on drums.The band draw their influences from proto-punk and glam rock of the 70's while blending in some guitar riffs associated with Heavy Metal and NWOBHM."Unchained & Bloodstained" is the bands sophomore album and follow up to the debut "Skintight Electric".

The album starts with a rhyming hypnotising kind of cult sermon lol!, before launching into a distorted 70's punk sound "Time To Bleed" with  distorted buzzing riffs with a deep throbbing bass line,with care free attitude vocals instantly transports you back to that era,instantly drawing me in.The albums title track is a clever blend of Proto Punk,with some Heavy Metal touches within the guitar riffs & runs, which is followed by "High Temptress" with a fast flowing tempo & energy delivered with swagger and more attitude."Speed Woman" from the start has  NWOBHM sounding galloping riffs,that mid tempo heavy melody which started the late 70's early 80's Metal sound which is the case with "War Path" the track which proceeds the former."Bedlam For Heart" is another Punk/Glam style number which also makes me think of when bands like Guns N' Roses,L.A. Guns and Faster Pussycat who invaded the Sunset Strip with a more raw sleazier sound with "Burning Mask" another great example the regulars at Whiskey A Go Go's would have loved."We Want Music" chant the kids chant at the start of "Demolition Man" and Killer Hearts oblige with another solid track which for me gives me Crue "Too Fast For Love" vibes in the second half of the track the guitar riffs and melodies change sounding similar to "Live Wire" another good track.

"Satanic Romantic" just chugs along its an ok track,the weakest on the album but despite listening to this album several times it just doesn't grab me.The albums last track "Dance To Destiny" is a back to form track, with that underground Punk sound full of high energy,frenzied tempo and lots more attitude to end the album strongly. "Unchained & Bloodstained" is a solid second album from Killer Hearts which includes some great tracks.An album which will appeal to all ages,full of attitude with great rhythm and melody.An album which is definitely worth a listen
