Have you ever thought how DREAM THEATER would have sounded if they had stuck in the Images And Words sound, yet striped from colour when it comes to imagination and had a more power metal ideology behind their motivations? Probably like KHALLICE but only with better production...
Formed in 1994 in Brazil and this is their debut release (hey it doesn't happen to Greek bands only!) apart a cover song in a compilation for the world famous Brazilian band MUTANTES (your honour, I rest my case...). Their biography doesn't forget to remind to all of us how good players they are: Alirio Netto (the vocalist), a professional singer who was performing the roll of Jesus in the brazilian version of Broadway's Jesus Christ Superstar and All KHALLICE members are professional musicians and music teachers with huge experience in different styles of music such as Jazz, Pop, Classical, and Bossa nova.
Well if they do have such a huge experience in Bossa Nova why do they sound like a C- clone of DREAM THEATER? Not only they do some heavy cloning but they literally strip sounds from DREAM THEATER (like samples for keyboards etc.) not to mention the Jesus Christ Superstar singer that wants to become LaBrie in the place of Labrie.
This kind of music was boring ten years ago. Things haven't change a lot since then...
