INANIMATE EXISTENCE is a Tech Death Metal band formed in Santa Cruz, California in 2012 by Joey, Cameron and Ron.

Their first full length album was released in 2012 and was called "Liberation Through Hearing" and the impact it did on the local scene was very good, it was well accepted and it had tones of good reviews, and this new one now I think will follow the same path.
The CD begins with an instrumental called "Om Mani Padme Hum" whatever that means, it is quite weird song really which does not add nothing to the CD really, the second track though is where all the business begins, "Omen" brutality in your face, crushing riffs, guttural vocals sharp as a knife, double kicks and killer solos, also an amazing bass work, yes cool as, "Bioluminescent Photophores" heavy distorted, all over the place riffing, good guitar work with a pretty cool melodies, "Rune Of Destruction" and "The Catacomb Of Mirrors" two complex songs with tones of variations, female vocals, harps, perhaps a little over the top, but nevertheless good songs. Having said that, I would prefer more Death Metal other than too much experiments really.

"Sharing Through Fire" yet another complex song, lots of bass work, solos and vocals tearing flesh away, I am not really into Tech Death or Tech Whatever, Old School is my way, but I have to say, theis Californian band is doing a fucking good job and "Out Of The Body Experience" confirms that. A nine minutes song with a bit of everything, good bass lines, solos, guitars all working perfectly in harmony. Perhaps a little too long but nonetheless a good work indeed, an for last another instrumental which I think is a bit overkill, one is already enough and that is a bit of a disappointment.

As production goes, I think everything is fine, art cover also good.
