IN THIS MOMENT is a female fronted Gothic / Modern Metal band from Hollywood, CA in USA formed in 2005. The band has released albums: "Beautiful Tragedy" in 2007, "The Dream" in 2008, "A Star-Crossed Wasteland" in 2010, "Blood" in 2012. Their fifth studio album, "Black Widow", was released on November 17, 2014.

"The Infection" is a nice modern intro into "Sex Metal Barbie", with electronic sounds, hoarse vocals which has PINK echoes and music with electronic elements and has similarity to MARYLIN MANSON and PRODIGY.  "Big Bad Wolf" is characterised by electronic with crazy riffs, with KORN and RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE influences.

I love the most mega catchy "Dirty Pretty" with electronic influences, also the pop commercial style, together with heavier riffs, are incredible. Amazing style of chorus with a mixture of strong guitars, electronic and vocal singing with passion, makes this song very memorable. The titled track, "Black Widow", has a nice groovy bass, electronic with rocking riffs, in ROB ZOMBIE climate.

Track "Sexual Hallucination" featuring Brent Smith from SHINEDOWN is a nice classy track on the album with gentle climate and together higher singing by 2 vocalists in melodic chorus! An awesome ballad with piano and incredible singing by vocalist in "The Fighter" - this track can real touches heart!

"Natural Born Sinner" has noticeable LADY GAGA influences with Techno Metal, Electronic music mixed with nice Industrial Metal in "Sick Like Me", and in "Bloody Creature Poster Girl", there are stronger guitars with electronic beats together with melody.

Summing it up, the album by IN THIS MOMENT is a good one for everybody who loves connections of Gothic Metal with modern elements, electronics, and of course melodies. Every song has other scheme, other idea. Each track is different. Generally their music would be loved by listeners who wants to listen to an unbelievable connection of Gothic, Electronic and Modern Metal, even Techno Metal and Pop echoes with Melody.<
