IMAGINATURE are a symphonic/power metal band from Poland, that have just released their first full length, self titled debut album in 2021. The band have forged their name by combining the words Imagination and Nature, which they use in the song writing style as a band. The album features two previously released singles in "Through the Cellar Door" and "Near the End", and also many guest appearances on vocals, keys, and guitars to round out this release.

"Atonement" starts off the record and is a great introduction to the band and what they bring to the symphonic metal table. This song has power that is driven by some driving drums and keys, with some great guitar work by guest guitarist Gunsen from the band PATHFINDER, that combined with the work of Marcin, places some smooth soaring guitars, has this as a great choice of opening song to the album. Next up is the track "Edge" and is the first taste of guest vocalists Konstantin Naumenko of PATHFINDER, who is heard on tracks 2, 3, 6 and 8, and Anna Dembowska. The song has an uplifting and addictive sound, along with the next track of the album, is delivered with clean and on point vocals, punchy drum fills and searing guitar solos, and gives you an idea of the makeup of songs on this album. "Shade Enchantress" comes with guest keyboards by Pavel Janiszewski that complement the vocals again by Anna, at times creating some bliss between some powerful guitars.

"Renegade" is featuring another guest vocalist Trzeszcz from the band BALLBREAKER and does a nice job with creating one of the heaviest songs on the album, bringing a new dynamic to the sound with some raspy growls and screeches distorting the peace of the opening keys. With "Through the Cellar Door" you can feel why this was a well received first single and has once

Again some dueling vocals with Konstantin and Anna, and it a well pieced together song with some thumping drums and great backing music for the vocalists to fed from and led the way. The keyboards led off "Near the End" and give it a feeling of drifting off into an uneasy dream that leaves you kicking and sweating, and has guest vocalist Margo Moyra portraying the feeling very well. The last song on the album "Weather the Storm" can give you the sense of the progressive metal side to the band that has its presence in a lot of the songs, whether it be a lot or a little, but contributes well to the sound that is given off by their first release.

One thing that to me seems to be really well done is the production of the album. It simply sounds good and is well put together with a sense that a lot of work was done for that to be accomplished. The bass seemed to be a little absent and could have been paired well with some of the keyboard work and guitar solos, which at times were both standouts to me.
