Pyroclastic Storms
Igneous Human

The catalog of the Swedish Melodic Death Metal scene seems to be enormous but also unfinished: DARK TRANQUILLITY, SOILWORK, DIMENSION ZERO, EMBRACED, DARKANE... The new entry of IGNEOUS HUMAN (from Falkoping) is the next brand name in the list that 'push' so many artists to follow the 'Gothenburg movement' and deliver the difficult Death Metal sound into numerous Metal homes. Their debut album, "Pyroclastic Storms" has all the attributes to make an impression with technicality and the catchy hooks; but we have been already heard all these...
"Pyroclastic Storms" is the name and inside, you'll find 10 compositions that have no differences from all the above awarded artists who has been with us since the early 90s where that 'storm' began. The venture is difficult and the music market demanding; I doubt if those five will make it and find the way to the cashier, however the attempt is really good and noticeable. From "Birth" till the non-matching "Tears", you have to stop for a worthy taste at "You Better Be Dead", "Quake" (too Stanne-ish) and "Demonride" (also, the theme-song for the upcoming movie "Road Vikings On The Road To Nowhere") which shows to have the personal ID of IGNEOUS HUMAN- an ID that we shall be able to recognize better in their next, second effort, where they would probably find once and for all their musical direction.
During the 43 minutes of "Pyroclastic Storms" you'll find amusing growling vocals, the technical bass work and all the scattered sharp riffs; instead of it though, I prefer to listen once again the glorious "The Gallery" of their compatriots DARK TRANQUILLITY and let myself into its expert's hands...
