From Turkey, you could not expect to find something like HORROCIOUS, especially as the average person probably can't imagine how, what or why the metal world is over there. I would speculate that's it's a scene that it is still very underground, not highlighted by most, if any of their society. But,here we are, with an amazing band that sounds like they were stuck in the nineties, from the high Europe.

HORROCIOUS fail to deliver anything new to the genre of Black Metal, and they are consistent with all the cliché elements: Satanism, raw sound, fastness, a very dark atmosphere, harsh vocals, common speed riffs, etc. Truth is, they are really stuck to that, so let's not give any false assumptions about it, this is pure fucking Black Metal, as simple as it sounds, as simple as it is.

The thing here, and probably the reason why I am doing this review, is because as a standard Black Metal fan, (of course I am not anything special either) I have search to discover something that I really like here. What I found is: the aggressiveness put into the songs, is something that you must consider when you get this album. Probably other bands in the past have it too, but with this release I am really intrigued by the aggressiveness. It's like a more ferocious band has come to me, and although over 17 years I have listened to many black metal bands, few like HORROCIOUS have captivated me and keep it that way throughout all of the album. Songs like "Corruption of Existential Structure" or "Everlasting Fractal Luminescence" are just really well done, and you should listen to them.

They are a blizzard for sure, and you will have a blown-mind from start to finish, but a warning....if you're not a Black Metal fan, you probably be better off passing this one by. Even some true fans of BM might disagree with me here. I'll let you to choose if you need this release in your life, or you can go back through time, to find the same thing.
