Hammer King were founded in 2015 by frontman Titan Fox and have steadily grown from being underground heroes to a staple in the European Metal scene, charting in the German charts and in doing so have built a loyal fan base known as The Hammerheads."Make Royal Again" is remarkably their 7th album in just over ten years their debut "Kingdom Of The Hammer King" released in May 2015.Now with their new label Reaper Entertainment ,multiple tours alongside acts such as Warkings and Dominium & the fanbase growing with each album,Hammer King are poised to take that next leap forward with "Make Metal Royal Again".A drum led assault leads the anthemic Power Metal orchestral fused "King For A Day" the lead single, with the  baritone backing vocals and powerful melodies colliding to make a spectacle."Make Metal Royal Again" is a more atmospheric melodic metal fist pumping anthemic track,with its melodic key touches,melodic guitar solo a nice touch.

"Schlaf Kaiser Schlaf" meaning "Sleep Kaiser Sleep" has me baffled as to the need for the child narration intro,to a track full of heavy melodys,riffs & rhythm which sound really good,of course not knowing German I don't understand the lyrics,so in context to the child narration/lullaby I don't get it's relevance.Another track follows with German and English lyrics "Hammerschlacht" which translates to "Hammer Blow" and I'm beginning to hear the passion of Hammer King's mission to deliver great energetic metal that's apparent in the way the tracks are crafted & put together."For Crown And Kingdom" has a wondrous dramatic sound Titan Fox hits some high notes vocally,the chanting backing vocals are sublime adding drama overload,with some great dynamic drums & bass,guitar technicality adding to the intensity,with the momentum not waning with headbanging tracks that follow with the superb "Kneel Before The Throne". "Major Domus" & "Hell Awaits The King" which fill my headphones or speakers with a dose of spectacular European Metal.The closing track "The Last Kingdom" ends the album in true dramatic fashion,another dramatic onslaught of soaring vocals,powerful chanting,pounding double drums,heavy bass & guitar runs which have me in awe at their superb delivery,the lighter acoustic passages add that medieval touch.

This album is a Melodic Metal spectacle,the powerful intense melodies,vocals & the choir, along with the orchestral touches sound sublime,along with the concept of "Make Metal Royal Again" make the album a triumphant spectacle.This is nothing new or groundbreaking,plenty of bands have made albums like this , but it's the heart,soul,emotion that Hammer King put into their musical interpretation, which makes them one of the bands leading the pack."Make Metal Royal Again" is exactly what Hammer King are doing with an album of this quality!
