GosT - Valediction album cover

I have three questions to ask you. Are you a fan of Black Metal? Are you a fan of Electronic? Are you a fan of Grindcore? If you answered yes to at least two of these then you are in luck! GOST is a mixture of all three of these and just released a new album entitled "Valediction". Just in time for Halloween, this album will be a great addition to any playlist for Metalheads. This album is also great to listen to at any given time as well. Currently all the music is played by Baalberith as well as the vocals. When I saw that this was up for grabs to review I had to jump on it. This is the fourth album that GOST has released and probably one of the best in my opinion.

Up first we have "Relentless Passing" which will make your eyes and ears bleed right off the bat. This song will show you exactly what the band is all about. To me this is completely amazing and it blows my mind that Baalberith was able to mesh all these different genres so perfectly. "Wrapped In Wax" brings in a bit more of the synthwave to the forefront which is really pleasing to me because I love it. It's a slower song in the beginning but changes up quite a few times. This song incorporates a very dark and eerie vibe which really will suck you in.

"Dreadfully Pious" has a real 80's feeling to it which is awesome. I really enjoyed this song from the beginning to end. Think SKINNY PUPPY met THE CURE and that is this song. So far this album has been mind-blowing and fantastic. "Timeless Turmoil" really reminds me of the band ANAAL NATHRAKH which I really enjoy a lot. So far this album is a masterpiece. I'm just enthralled by how absolutely incredible this album is so far. It's honestly kind of hard to find the words to describe how amazing it is. "Bloody Roses" is a bit more reserved and not as intense as the previous songs, but don't let that fool you. The last song I really wanted to cover is "Push". I have no idea what it is about this song, but it's by far one of my favorites on the album. Everything in this one is completely perfect. From the vocals to the electronica, this was a masterpiece. I highly recommend picking this album up immediately!
