Ginevra are a Swedish super group made up of Kristian Fyhr (Seventh Crystal),Magnus Karlsson (The Ferrymen,Primal Fear),Jimmy Jay (H.E.A.T.) and Magnus Ulfstedt (Ex Eclipse,Nordic Union. “Beyond Tomorrow” is the sophomore album which comes just less than three years since the debut “We Belong To The Stars”. Ginevra came about after Kristian Fyhr sent Frontiers President Serafino Perugino some songs he had written for consideration future Frontiers projects. Perugino asked Fyhr if he would be interested fronting a new band which was considerably different from Fyhr's main band Seventh Crystal. Bringing in the other three band members Ginevra was born with their sound like big Nordic bands such has H.E.A.T. ,Eclipse & Crowne.

Opener “Moonlight” is a very powerful introduction to the album the strong guitars,drums & bass accompany the powerful vocals from Kristian Fyhr which is a great melodic rock track at times going into power metal territory.”Lightning Roses” has a atmospheric orchestral beginning with some touches throughout with Magnus Karlsson's guitar riffs & touches give this track a melodic rock feel.”True North” has a beautiful piano intro,again a guitar led track,the chorus is one of power along with the lead vocals,with great harmonies just allows this song to soar to great heights.”Let Freedom Ring” and “Echoes Of The Lonely” have some great lyrics with the message of determination & commitment while facing tough obstacles in life.” Beat The Devil” has a more heavy feeling chorus which is built around by some great melodic verses.”Samurai” along with “Higher” have tight melodies which are a mixture of symphonic & power metal touches,full of energy and power.”Wild Ones” has a fast paced heavy tempo made dynamic with the deep bassline from Jimmy Jay and the pounding heavy drum beats from Magnus Ulfstedt .”Enemy Of Your Destiny” sees the album close with on a heavy melodic/power metal track which is a mid tempo track with powerful musicality and a powerful vocal.

“Beyond Tomorrow” is a very powerful album indeed. Kristian Fyhr delivers a superb vocal,which shows why he is one of the best singers of recent years,along with his great songwriting backed by some exquisite guitar work from Magnus Karlsson with solid rhythm from Jimmy Jay and Magnus Ulfstedt make Ginevra an exciting side project for the guy. A very solid second album. A great listen out now on Frontiers Music.
